We had a car so the distance was not that much of a concern. Definitely enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. Very close to Talisker, Oyster shed and the property was daily cleaned

The location on the edge of a small village Carbost was stunning. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and the hills beyond. Room was comfortable, with its own bathroom. Our host was friendly and helpful, the shared kitchen had tea and coffee and milk in the fridge, all you could want. It was a perfect base for exploring the island.
There is a great pub - The Old Inn in easy walking distance, which also does breakfast. Dinners there were memorable.
And of course the Talisker distillery, also in walking distance.
There wasn't anything to complain about.

Location view
I was aware the rooms are small and basic but the washroom was little small that expected

Nice surroundings and close to the village.
There was no one attending, and the owner only appeared to book us in.
The rooms were very small with only basic furniture.

"Perfect host- James..he was there to receive us, helped us settle in and had some great conversations- Scottish culture, history.…it’s a stone throw away from Talisker distillery and perfectly nestled..."
