The location was very quiet within an easy drive of Portree. While we enjoyed our location immensely, some might find it remote. We enjoyed our private sitting area the one evening out of three we could actually sit outside. The bed was very comfortable, and our wonderful host, Morag kept our fridge stocked with good breakfast foods and snacks. We had everything we needed.

We had a lovely two-night stay. After another hotel had to cancel our booking, we ended up finding Danderlion by chance, and we were delighted to discover such a better place. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring Skye. Parking was easy and convenient, the breakfast was excellent, and the wine was a very welcome and thoughtful touch. Morag is a very welcoming host, and we would happily stay again and warmly recommend Danderlion for a peaceful break on the island.
