Casa di Lesley e di suo marito John è situata al nord dell'Isola di Skye, in un punto panoramico davvero molto bello. Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera da letto matrimoniale che si trova all'interno della loro casa con bagno accanto alla camera (non in camera direttamente), ma a nostro uso esclusivo. La camera non è molto grande ma dotata di ogni confort, il bagno molto nuovo e davvero ben organizzato (vengono forniti molti asciugamani e tutti i set per il bagno). Lesley, davvero molto gentile e simpatica, ci ha preparato delle ottime colazioni. Ci ha insegnato a fare il porridge e anche fatto provare il Kilt di suo padre! Ha prenotato per noi in un ottimo ristorante vicino a casa e ci ha intrattenuto raccontandoci storie sulla Scozia e sull'isola di Skye, una esperienza davvero unico. La sera mi ha anche preparato delle ottime tisane. Inoltre, il prezzo è molto molto onesto considerando quanto costano gli alloggi a Skye. Speriamo di tornare a trovarvi presto!

Everything about Leslie and Trumpan Cottage was just perfect! She is the kindest and most generous host we have ever met. She made us feel like home with her hospitality. The cottage had the best views one can ask for and we highly recommend this beautiful cottage for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and breathtaking scenery!

We had an exceptional stay! Leslie and John are tremendous hosts — warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Their attention to detail in the rooms was outstanding; they’ve truly thought of everything, from binoculars to laminated guides for local walks and sights. Breakfast was a highlight — the best porridge we’ve ever had — and their wonderful sense of humour made every interaction a joy. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
