Very clean and spacious room with a great bathroom. Nice location as a base for walking around Pisa. The room is authentic.

Self check in procedure is overly complicated and unnecessary. Fridge wasn't plugged in when we arrived and it took forever to chill our water. Air conditioning wasn't turned on and it was way too small for the room that big in the attic. We couldn't chill the room for the night. Wifi password that was left in the room wasn't correct and there was no name of the wifi itself. We had to turn our data roaming so we could contact the staff and ask for the right one, which was a completely different one. Not every electric outlet is working, so our phones weren't charging at all and we didn't notice that. These are some small things that can ruin the whole experience for future travellers. It costs little to nothing to put the right wifi password or to keep the little fridge running, especially on 35C hot summer day.

Terrible communication and zero hospitality The employee promised to send the check-in instructions by our check-in time at 3:00 PM (which was well within the property's standard hours). On the day of arrival, we received absolutely nothing. We ended up waiting outside the door for 40 minutes in the blistering 35°C heat. The person we had been in touch with the day before completely ignored all my messages and calls. After 20 minutes of waiting in the heat, we decided to call from a different phone number. They picked up immediately, which makes me believe they were deliberately ignoring my number (the person who actually booked and paid for the stay). When we explained who we were, the staff member abruptly and rudely told us they had "problems with the room," snapped that we should wait another 10 minutes for the instructions, and hung up without any further explanation or apologies. The instructions finally arrived 20 minutes after that phone call. Not a single word of apology was offered for the massive inconvenience and stress caused, leaving us wondering if we were being scammed. Unprofessional, rude, and completely unacceptable.
