An absolute Gem!

Everything! It’s proximity to the historical center, the quiet neighborhood, the spaciousness and comfort of the home as well as Sofie being one of the most gracious hosts I have ever met. I would definitely recommend, and if I return to Bruges during the Spring, I will definitely return to this accommodation.

Great weekend escape with the hubby.

Beautiful property, great location, comfy bed and very peaceful. Perfect for seeing the magic of Brugge at Christmas, just a 15 minute walk into the centre of Brugge. Parking available on street out the front. Sofie was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Perfect place in Bruges

Great place to relax and unwind after a day of walking and exploring. 15 minutes walk to everything. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom, with large separate shower. Nice garden but it was very hot when we stayed, so we kept indoors and in the shade.... and the owner was lovely and kept us well informed and answered all our questions.

Sofie met us and showed us around which was very helpful.. and she was great at communicating when we needed her..It was very well equipped in every room.. especially the kitchen and bathroom.. We cooked in the house every night and there was nothing missing in the kitchen at all… All the little extras were appreciated , She had thought of everything.. The bed was very comfy and there was a lot of space…

The home was advertised as having air conditioning… it isn’t air conditioned but does have plug in fans…it was extremely hot in the living area, even with the patio doors open due to the hot weather when we were there…🙁

Perfect location for a stay in Bruges

The apartment was beautifully presented, very spacious and comfortable. It was conveniently located to a supermarket and short walk into the old city. The bedroom, bathroom and toilet were upstairs accessed via a steep, narrow staircase so we left most of our luggage downstairs. Sofie was a wonderful host and was there to welcome us when we arrived to show us around the apartment. The washing machine and dryer were very useful. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely cosy home away from home - A must stay.

This home is amazing, so comfy, cozy and had everything you need. It was nice to be away from the city centre but really a lovely walk in around 15-20 minutes depends how fast you wanted to walk. There's a supermarket at the end of the street a small bakery not far just google it sorry can't remember the name. You can walk to the train station but with luggage I would recommend an Uber/Taxi it doesn't cost much. Loved Bruge and loved this home, thanks to our host :)

Stairs to the bedroom are small and slightly steep just something to note if your not able but it really didn't bother us although we did leave our luggage downstairs as we found it easier, this is more just so you are aware not a complaint.

We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

A very comfortable place to stay which met all our needs. Having a garden to sit in during the evening was a real bonus and it is very quiet. Conviently located to walk into the city center, it took us about 10 mins. Carrefour supermarket at the end of the street was very handy. Sofie, our host. was really helpful. Parking in the street outside is only for 4 hours from 9am-6pm but there is free parking just a five minute walk away across the Scheepsdalebrug bridge and then immediately turn left. Street parking along the streets there is free and no bother. Main bedroom is on the first floor as well as both a bath and a full sized shower. There was a pull out bed in the front room and the sofa is huge in the back room. A lovely full sized kitchen as well. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Prior to the event on our last morning, we would have considered staying here again - but not now!

The location was super for walking in to the heart of Brugge, and the kitchen provided all essentials for self-catering.

Safety/security concern: On our last morning in this accommodation the gardener let himself into the house at 8:30am using a key, without our prior consent, or even knocking on the door. This was NOT resolved with the property owner to our satisfaction.

Stunning Townhouse near the heart of Bruges

Sofie was an excellent host: very helpful, responsive, generous, and considerate. Her townhouse was even better than described and free parking right outside (with a blue disc) was awesome. The house, billed as a one-bed apartment, is, quite simply, perfect with everything you could possibly need! Beautifully and stylishly decorated, comfortably furnished, and only a 20 minute stroll from Bruges Grote Markt. Lovely, secluded terrace and garden - perfect for a summer time aperitif! The upstairs bedroom is spacious and comfortable and the bath (separate loo, and shower) is an absolutely luxurious pleasure. The through lounge, kitchen and seating area downstairs is open plan, very spacious and extremely well equipped.

The stairs are quite steep - care needs to be taken.

Spacious, modern and comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood

It was very spacious and modern with everything we could possibly need. The neighborhood was quiet, yet close to the old town. When we had a problem with the toilet, the owner was quick to respond and get it fixed. Having a washing machine for our laundry was a bonus.

Like all historic buildings, there were steep steps between the two floors but it was good that the bathroom was on the same floor as the bedroom.

we had a fantastic stay in beautiful Bruges and our stay in Sofies home was more than comfortable.

the property had plenty of space for the two of us. It was a clean and comfortable space with everything you need at hand. it’s also close to the centre of Bruges, with only a short walk to get into the centre.

We were bitten quite a lot by mosquitos on the first night. Not really a fault with the property, but a warning or supplying some repellant might be a good idea for future guests.

A perfect base!

This is a really spacious, comfortable and relaxing property for two. It had everything we needed and a little more (a gorgeous bath tub). Very relaxing seating areas and comfortable bed. It was the perfect base for us as we weren't just visiting Bruges but surrounding areas and the property is out of the centre. There is a supermarket just round the corner which is easy to walk to. The owner Sofie is extremely friendly and on hand to help with anything to make your stay even better. She was so helpful when my partner left his prescription sunglasses at the property. We would definitely use this property again.

We were lucky enough to get really warm weather during our stay and although there was a great fan downstairs it still got quite warm upstairs and we wanted the windows open but there were a lot of mosquitos at night and we got bitten quite badly. We did move the fan upstairs but it would have been useful to have one in both areas in very warm weather. Everything else was great!

Sofie’s house is situated close to the city center in a very calm area. Lots of light in the living room brought a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The bed is confortable and the bathroom is very nice with everything you could need.

OTTIMO INDIRIZZO VICINO AL CENTRO DI BRUGES

Host Sofia molto gentile e accogliente. Appartamento in una tranquilla via con grande supermercato Carrefour a 2 minuti a piedi. In 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge Ezelpoort mentre in 20 minuti a piedi si è nel pieno centro di Bruges. L'appartamento è completo di tutto: lavatrice, asciugatrice, lavastoviglie, grande smart TV con Netflix, giardinetto attrezzato, non so proprio dire che cosa manca...lo consiglio assolutamente!

Unica nota negativa è che l'appartamento è su due piani: zona giorno in basso e camera da letto e bagno al primo piano collegati da una scala ripida e stretta. Alla fine ci siamo abituati, ma avrei preferito che fosse stato scritto nella descrizione.

Radfahren, Spazieren, Schlemmen und sich danach in die "eigene Oase" zurückziehen können.

Bis zu diesem Aufenthalt haben meine Frau und ich uns gegen Ende des Urlaubs immer enorm auf das eigene Bett gefreut. In diesem Apartment war das Bett so gut bestückt, dass wir eigentlich keinen Unterschied feststellen konnten und deshalb auch wirklich erholt und sehr zufrieden die Heimreise antraten.

Nicht gefallen ist vielleicht übertrieben, wir stehen einfach nicht so auf beschriebenen Krimskrams, aber hey, ist Urlaub!

Tolle Unterkunft!

Die Küche war überragend, das Bett bequem, die Gegend ruhig und alles sehr schön.

Die Treppe war etwas steil und die Toilette sehr eng. Aber das sind wirklich nur klitzekleine Kleinigkeiten im Verhältnis zum sehr guten Gesamteindruck.
