Luxury loft flat in centre of Bruges

This home was located close to everything and was even better than the listing showed. It is bigger than we thought with a beautiful view of the square right out front. The Christmas market was set up here so the lights and decorations were so fun to look at and watch from the kitchen and living room when we resting or eating. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. They answered questions very quickly. We definitely recommend this place whether it’s just a few people or 10. The location and easy access were so convenient for us to come and go every day. We will be back for sure. Brugge was amazing and beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bruges at this lovely apartment. It was spacious, well equipped and very homey. The location was amazing being so close to main locations and a mile from the train station. Our just was very responsive to any extra needs and always with a smile.

Anyone who finds Bruges knows they have found the quintessential gem of a medieval European city. Ghent, Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotenburg, Venice. There are others in Europe still built around their medieval bones. But in general, you are only seeing the bones - the streets and canals. In Bruges, the bulk of the ancient city is still intact. If the charm and history of ancient Europe are what you love and seek, you will find it here in all its glory, wrapped in the beauty, charm, style, and amenity of the modern day. This amazing apartment on the Simon Stevin Plein is the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy it all. Equipped with everything you need for a family friendly or romantic stay, this apartment is located exactly at the intersection of where-you-want-to-be and off-the-beaten-path. Lovers of Bruges know the excitement of the Grote Markt, lined with restaurants and stunning architecture, which is only 200 meters away down Steenstraat. But in only a few minutes, you can remove yourself from the bustle of the Markt to the tree-lined quiet of the Simon-Stevinplein. We spent days wandering the streets of the old city, but most often we found ourselves back under the windows of the apartment for a meal, as we could find no finer place to relax in the city. Our hosts did an excellent job of preparing us with parking options and other advice, remaining available and nearby, but otherwise out of site. I highly recommend this place, my new home in Bruges.

This apartment was in a great location. It was close to everything. The beautiful windows overlooked the square below. It was quiet at night. The hosts were super helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We were a multigenerational family of 11 ranging in age from 5 to 76. The location of this flat was perfect, as was the layout of the flat itself. The hosts were responsive and very friendly. Would highly recommend this flat for either a couple or a large group!

First time to Bruges for us. 2 families w late teens. We were right in the middle of old town, 3-4 min walk to main square. it was an amazing location just minutes from food, drinks, bakeries, groceries, coffees, most that were just right downstairs! The property itself was quite private and quiet for being right in the middle off things. Beds, bathrooms, and kitchen were perfectly appointed for all of our needs. I especially loved opening the windows and having coffee looking over the bustle of the square. This is a gem, rent it if available!

Wonderful stay in this lovely home. Perfect location in the center of quaint Bruges. We loved our stay. Joseph was wonderful with checking us in and making sure we were settled. The home was very spacious and accommodated our family well. A sofa bed was set up in one of the upstairs oversized bedrooms that worked out perfectly for our adult daughter. We didn’t find out until after booking that the 2 upstairs (attic)bedrooms are only made available for parties of 7 or more, but the sofa bed worked perfectly fine for our family. Great place. We would definitely want to stay there if we ever visit again.

We had a group of 10 friends who gathered prior to our Boat/Bike tour from Brugge to Paris. Luckily we arrived on the Thursday of "The procession of the holy blood". What a spectacle and right outside the window of our apartment. Thanks a lot to Karina & Joseph for letting us check in a couple hours early to watch this parade/procession. Huge apartment with beds for 10. We had a beautiul stay.

Rooms were comfortable and large, the loaction was unbeatable.

A lovely flat in a great location right in the heart of Bruges. You will be within a few minutes walk of all the great sites of this beautiful city. The flat overlooks a park area that was turned into a Christmas/holiday market during our stay, though I think it is generally more open space and less crowded other times of the year. Even with all the activity below, we were not disturbed at all, and loved how convenient we were to everything. Communication via email was a little problematic, I needed some clarification a few times, but it was lovely to meet the owner at check in and everything was explained thoroughly and also was happy to give great recommendations in the area. A washing machine & dryer would be a great addition for a longer stay, but I did see a nice looking laundromat right off the main square. Highly recommend gem in an amazing city!

This is a great flat with lovely views into a market square. Everywhere in central Bruges is in walking distance. The first bedroom is off the living room on the first floor. The second two doubles are on the second floor and share a bathroom. The two singles are on the top floor have a staircase with no bannister leading up to them. There is no bathroom on this floor. This property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems . It is fairly priced for what it is but would be spectacular if it were modernised. The people who run it are polite and pleasant.

We were two couples and a toddler and loved this apartment for our 3 night stay. So clean, so much space, perfect location, well equipped and a wonderful view for people watching. We were able to easily take a bus from the train station with our luggage but also walked to the train for a day trip to Ghent. We would definitely try to stay here again if we get to return to this wonderful city.

This listing exceeded our expectations by a long shot! The location is absolutely amazing. All of the great things you can see or do in Bruges are at an arm's reach. We stayed with a group of 10 for our yearly weekend getaway and enjoyed ourselves a lot. The location served us in the way that it was a quick hideout for in between trips and sightseeing. It easily accomodated our group size. Parking is just around the corner and reachability is great. We couldn't have found a better stay than this one. We highly recommend this listing! 5 stars well deserved.

We had a wonderful stay in Bruges. The house is above a store right in the middle of town -- walkable to everything. House was clean and just the right size for our family. Be aware that there are a lot of steps in the house (if anyone in your group has mobility issues). Owners were quick to respond to all communications.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. The apartment was well appointed & equipped with plenty of room & separation. The location was exceptional would highly recommend.

Traveling with my two adult children, this home was absolutely fabulous. Beautifully decorated, a very well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable beds. Plenty of space to gather, and plenty of privacy when needed. 5 minute walk to main square, grocery store just across the square. The hosts were wonderful, very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The pictures are lovely but the house and whole experience were even better. The location with large picture windows looking out onto the square with amazing restaurants, people watching, and chocolate shops was ideal. The house is so large our family of 5 would get turned around inside. Comfy couches, large sitting areas, outstanding light, wonderful amenities like a steam shower (with music inside), all added to a remarkable visit in a wonderful location. Best of all were Joseph and Nathalia the owners. They were personable hosts happy to share their wonderful city. Welcoming guests seems to be their main motivation. We felt lucky to be here. One of our best family trips ever!

This is a perfect place to stay in Bruges! The location is amazing - right on the main square. Everything you want to do is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Restaurants and shops right next door. The apartment is big, open, lots of light, amazingly clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. The space was great for our group (2 couples and a child). Things to note: the bedroom on the first level is separated from the living space by a curtain (not shown on the photos, NOT a deal breaker) . The bedrooms on the 2nd level have their own living room ("attached lounge") so the 2nd level is very big and private. Everyone uses the kitchen on the first floor. There is no WiFi. So, if you need to do some computer work, you willneed to find WiFi at a restaurant/cafe (which are everywhere) or use your phone as a "hot spot". The property does not have a USB/USB-C power strip so bring your own chargers and European plug-in electrical adaptors. Note: the property is listed as a 5 bedroom. We typically rent "larger than we need" properties when we travel and spread out. For this property, the owners will determine how many rooms you need and close off the other rooms. Our set up worked great (1st and 2nd levels/3 rooms are very roomy)! I thought I was renting a 5 bedroom apt and didn't realize that they appropriated the space until after I gave my deposit. Not a deal breaker. The owners are very attentive.

Great property. Spectacular location. Host was extremely nice and easy to communicate with. One note: no wifi in the property, which was no problem for us as we have a large Euro data plan, but this is something to plan for. Plenty of room and everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Its space and its location make it an ideal place to stay at! I would recommend it for family or friends that want to spend some quality time together and enjoy what Bruges has to offer!

Amazing location, apartment was well presented and spacious with everything you would need for a stay in Brugge. The hosts were super, good communication and a pleasure to deal with. You can tell they really care for the apartment. We were 4 couples and 2 singles and all enjoyed their stay. So good we are going to rebook.

We were looking for an apartment that had at least 3 bedrooms as our 12 and 16 year olds are too old to share together now. This apartment was perfect, it actually sleeps 12 but over 2 floors was able to accommodate our needs. The place was immaculate and location wise could not have been better. Located above Dille and Kamille shop with Le Pain Quotadian next door for breaky and only a 5 min walk from Grote Makt. Would definitely recommend this

Bruge is awesome and the location of this property is excellent to experience it. This is a beautiful, elegant building, which made the experience that much richer. We had some difficulties communicating with the host, which made our arrival less ideal. We probably would not rent from these people again as a result. However, all in all, we had a great time.

If you want to experience Bruges as a local then this is the place to stay. Everything is on your door step, you look out onto a cosy yet buzzing square with shops and cafe's a plenty. The apartment is incredible, very spacious and elegant - making us feel as relaxed as possible, we didn't want to leave. The owners were extremely helpful and warm, and very accommodating, making the trip our best yet which will be hard to beat. Top recommendation 10/10.

This is a truly exceptional property in the historic heart of Brugge. EVERYTHING is totally convenient. Literally outside your door are multiple excellent restaurants including a bakery. The home itself is clean, well furnished, and architecturally interesting. Hosts Joseph and Katrina are gracious and very helpful. We Visited Brugge twice before this week long time and would submit that this is the best vacation property available. 5 Stars! Also has secure parking a short distance away.

The apartment is huge. I can't imagine a better location in all of Bruges, right in the middle. I felt so great to open the windows and hear European life happening. Simon Stevin Square is lively, but not loud - just the atmosphere we wanted.

We were 6 friends staying for a long weekend visit to Bruges. We had to postpone our original trip which was planned in December due to Covid restrictions but the owners were very accommodating allowing us to change our stay. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were quick to respond. The apartment was perfectly located for us within easy walking distance to all tourist spots and eateries we visited. It is very spacious with lovely large windows overlooking the square. It is clean and comfortable and although we didn't use the kitchen facilities it seemed very well equipped. The bedrooms are partitioned off but don't have doors so this apartment would be good for families or very good friends. The stairs up to the top floor where there are single beds are narrow and steep. We didn't use the top floor as we were only six but as there isn't a bathroom on the top floor it might not be suitable for an older or less agile person. We would definitely try to stay in this apartment next time we visit Bruges.
