Living space
The ground floor sets the tone for the whole house - a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals at your leisure, a cozy living area centered around a large dining table perfect for gathering the whole group, and a separate toilet for added convenience. A private inner courtyard opens off the main living area, offering a quietly sheltered spot to unwind with a coffee or a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. The mezzanine level houses a spacious bathroom fitted with both a bathtub and a shower. An indoor fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere during cooler months. Sleeping arrangements
Asterix sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms spread over the first and third floors. On the first floor, one bedroom features twin beds and another holds a king-size bed. On the third floor, one bedroom includes a king-size bed alongside a single bed, while the fourth bedroom has a double bed. In total the house offers two king-size beds, one double bed, one set of twin beds, and one single bed. Bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets are all provided. Please note that the staircase connecting the floors is authentic, steep, and narrow - a true reflection of Bruges' historic townhouse architecture, and something to keep in mind when booking with young children or guests with limited mobility.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and hot water kettle. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses are all on hand. A coffee maker and coffee are also available. The large dining table easily accommodates the full group for shared meals.
Families & extras
Asterix is well set up for families traveling with little ones. Children's books and toys, a high chair, children's dinnerware, and window guards are all in place.
