Location and spaciousness make up for the disadvantages

Perfect location

Basement apartment: very few windows and thus very little light. Wet spots near the big window doors in the bedrooms in the morning - mold building up. We have already informed staff. No door separating the living room sofa bed from the kitchen / dining area, so unpractical for child sleeping in that "room".

Clean, comfortable apartment in great location

Clean, comfortable and big apartment in the main centre of town. Very close to everything-so handy being walking distance to Bruges’ main sites. Big thanks to reception at the nearby linked hotel who very kindly helped us with any questions we had.

The apartment was spacious and the location was excellent. Very happy with the apartment.

The hearing was left on in the whole apartment and the instructions were not clear on how to turn it off. They had the thermostat but the instructions stated not to touch the heating, as it controls all the apartments.

Decent but would be so much better if we had more comfortabke pillows

Clean and Convenient to all attractions … short walk to restaurants , Church of Holy Blood, Brewery, laundry Clean and spacious.

All 3 of us couldn’t sleep well because the pillows didn’t give adequate neck support ;( Would be good if they provided instructions on how to switch on the shower; we had to google it!! The verandah where some chairs were placed overlooked a lane which stank of urine; so don’t open the sliding door!

We should stay here again.

Central location, clean, spacious, well equipped, washer and liked the second floor bedroom. We enjoyed the terrace and the large glass doors that opened wide. Elevator was convenient.

All was great. Directions for the washer would be helpful, but we figured it out and we’re very happy to have one in the apartment.

A comfortable place to stay in the center of Bruges,

Amazing location. It was easy to walk to all the sights and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and had nice light. We spent quite a bit of time on the deck as well.

At night you could occasionally hear noise from the other apartments above and below. The apartments seem to be popular with families with young kids.

Location is worth it

Size of room, very spacious property. Location was excellent, great cafes a few steps away. Main centre just around the corner. Lovely view. Highly recommend for location.

Bathroom, bedroom stairs and toilet cupboard. Bathroom was dark and small, didn't like the weak water pressure of the shower over the bath. Toilet room was tiny with no light or fan so dark and hot in there. Bedroom was up steep open stairs and got very hot, we had the noisy fan going all nights. Suggest being able to open windows downstairs for better ventilation.

Wonderful stay in a fantastic apartment

Perfect location, very central but on a quiet street. Check in/out process was very efficient: the hotel staff were welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment had everything we needed for a family of 5 - very nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, comfy and well equipped. It was definitely a haven to go back to relax after long, lovely days exploring Bruges. Quality, premium apartment that met expectations for the price.

Only a minor gripe, but more could have been done to improve the inner courtyard/garden space - it was looking a bit unloved.

Super spacious apartment in which to enjoy time away with old friends

Great location, spacious apartment. Lovely decor and comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff in the main building.

The heating in the living room. One of us slept on the sofa bed in the living room which had some sort of storage heater that pumped out hot air all night, even though the heating was off in the rest of the apartment. The instruction booklet from the apartment owners said that we should not turn this particular heater off as it controlled the whole building. The hotel helpfully sent someone round to see if it could be turned down but there was no improvement. The apartment had plenty of fans which helped and we opened the window into the communal area to let some cooler air in but didn't like to leave it open all night for security reasons. The other two bedrooms were fine. Otherwise it was a fab apartment and in cold weather I'm sure the issue with the heater in the living room would probably not be a problem.

Great stay!

Great location, easy to get the keys when we got there very late. Front desk is located around the corner from the property and was very responsive to questions. They let us do a late checkout due to a foot injury I obtained. Easy walk to anywhere in the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds were very comfortable.

Shower water pressure was nonexistent, but there was a separate bath tub with a shower head that had normal pressure so it wasn't that big of a deal.

The apartment was spacious, very comfortable including the beds and in a great location. The staff were wonderful, their customer service was first class when we had an issue with guests in another apartment. Would happily stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The Duke Apartments are a nice place to stay in the center of Bruges.

The apartments were in a perfect location near all the tourist sites, restaurants, and shopping. We didn’t need our car at all after parking in the public lot that the host directed us to.

The parking is a few minutes walk away from the apartments. It wasn’t far for us, but we had good weather and enjoyed the walk.

Highly recommended, can't wait to return! A warm welcome with very helpful information to discover the city started the experience and the apartment itself was grand! Comfortable, modern and with all the facilities you could wish for. The location is unreal, just 100m from the Grand Place, but still nice and quiet. A perfect stay and we will definitely return!
