Maison Gaston

Loved the house, loved the garden! Wonderful location, with a pub, supermarket and a truly fab restaurant (Kaffee Roger) all within a minute’s walk! An easy walk to Bruges city center, and all amenities (even a garage, a real gem in this area!) to make travelling life super easy. Hosts were lovely, very responsive and they gave us so many great tips to make our stay even better! ❤️❤️❤️

I stayed with elderly parents, so it would have been nice to have some comfy chairs in the living room. The couch seemed to eat them alive and rescue troops (me) had to save them from a ‘turtle on their back’ position 🤣 It was HOT during our stay so the attic was a bit of a challenge as we had to choose heat or mosquitoes. We eventually chose another bottle of wine, so no issues really 🥂Also, my mum is afraid of spiders and of course she found some in the house, don’t fret though! I live in Australia and I identified them as the non killing kind! 😎

The apartment was beautiful and the hosts were so helpful and accommodating.

Fabulous huge house in a great location - 20 min pleasant walk to the city centre and a good little supermarket and a bus stop at the end of the road. Peter and Olivia were great with communication and very friendly, they provided lots of useful information about the area and responded quickly to queries. The house is wonderful with lots of period features, a huge garden where we had breakfast every morning, well equipped kitchen, good wifi and comfortable beds. We were two couples so we had a double room and bathroom each and there was loads of space.

We visited during the recent heatwave across a large area of Europe and it was sweltering in Brugges - fans were available in the house upstairs but when we opened the skylights on the top floor we got a lot of mosquitos (and bites😬). This was exceptionally abnormal weather though - we would definitely return but probably at a cooler time of the year! 🥰

Mooi schoon en groot genoeg voor 4 personen, alles was aanwezig en de locatie is perfect om Brugge te ontdekken.

Gehuurde garage is erg krap, de auto paste net. Misschien verstandig om de maten van de garage erbij te zetten.
