We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners when we arrived for our stay in Loppem. This is a bright, comfortable home with plenty of space and a lovely garden which is surrounded by countryside including a pony in the field next door and a couple of horses owned by the owners, but with only a short 10 min walk into the town where you can find a supermarket, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants. The house is well equipped with comfy sofas and beds, satellite TV and a choice of tables to eat at in the open plan ground floor (outside, kitchen or dining area). This property also offers easy access to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels and we visited all three cities for a bit of shopping, eating out (can recommend Mister Spaghetti in Bruges) and had to visit the Torture Museum (also in Bruges, but may be don't take your young children here though!). Even closer to home is Loppem Castle which is also worth a visit. The owners live next door and are very helpful if you need any information or help. We had a throughly enjoyable stay and can recommend!

We had a great week in August 2022 with 5 people. The house was build out of an old farmer house. Very nice layout. The house is surrounded by a lot of "Villas" and we were very quick at the highway for excursions to Bruegge, Antwerpen, Gent! We plan to come back. Regards, Michael

This is a perfect place to stay to visit the coast, Bruges and nearby Loppem which you can walk into. Nicole was very helpful, the house is stunning and the Hamam is a lovely way to wind down at the end of the day. The people we met in Belgium were very friendly and welcoming, the beer is obviously on a different planet and every meal we had (all traditional Flemish) were delicious! Thanks again.

Cette belle et grande maison est située dans un cadre reposant et ressourçant, au milieu des champs. Elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, parfaitement équipée (rien ne manque), dispose d’une literie ultra confortable et d’un beau grand jardin. Un havre de paix, idéal pour les familles et les vacanciers qui désirent le calme, la nature, visiter la petite ville pittoresque de Bruges (10 min en voiture) et la côte belge (20 min en voiture). Beaucoup de balades sont possibles aux alentours dont une au domaine du château de Loppem, superbe ! Les propriétaires sont des gens adorables et très disponibles qui vivent juste à côté. Point très important pour nous : nos animaux de compagnie (2 chiens) y étaient les bienvenus :-) Tout était parfait et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Très belle maison très bien équipée. Les propriétaires habitent juste la maison à côté. Seul point négatif, la maison n'est pas équipée en eau potable mais la propriétaire fournit des bonbonnes d'eau. Par ailleurs, il arrive que l'eau sente l'œuf pourri. Sinon rien à dire sur la location.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem Haus. Es ist sehr rustikal und gemütlich. Wir haben jeden Abend draußen an der Feuerschale gesessen. Die Betten waren alle gut, das Vierbettzimmer nur sehr einfach eingerichtet. Eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die sich steht’s bemüht hat. Alles war sauber und zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wieder kommen 😊
