Fabulous!

We love Kyumari! We have stayed here three times now when we visit Ubud every year. A very comfortable family run place, great location near restaurants/bars and shops. Dewa is an amazing host, always very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable, good A/C and wifi with a delicious breakfast, including good coffee served on the patio/balcony. Dewa is also very helpful if you need to organise transport anywhere. Brilliant!

We loved our stay here! The reviews seemed too good to be true so we had to see for ourselves, and it really lived up to the expectations. The room was very clean, the bed was cozy, the AC worked great, and the shower was awesome. The breakfast was delicious and the sweet host couple really showed attention to detail. They noted what fruits we didn’t eat for breakfast the first morning and then replaced it with different fruit the next morning. It was small, but appreciated and noted. The property was also very peaceful and quiet and located close to a small convince store that was open late and a laundromat right next door!

We liked the location and liked that it was a little bit of a walk from the main street of Ubud, but just be aware that some taxi drivers said that road is one of the hardest to get to in Ubud, but they still found us no problem! Plus, it’s walking distance to the money forest, which is fun!

Long way to walk from road with luggage not car accessible, it is like a home, invasion of privacy, caretaker used to come in room when we were not there unplug everything from electrical outlets, turn off AC, breakfast was extremely ordinary, not value for money.

Comfortable and quiet

In 4 months of travelling, this is one of our top stays! It was so clean and spacious. The attention to detail was impressive from the comfy bed, nice linen, 2 drying racks, hooks and the best pillows. It was easy to rent a scooter through them. Having breakfast overlooking the garden was a great way to start the day. It was a great location, easy walk to most places in Ubud but so quiet and peaceful! The highlight was the sweetest couple running the homestay!

Exceptional Stay - Highly Recommend! Beautiful Spacious Rooms in a Perfect Location!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kyumari! Everything was fantastic - the team that look after you, the yummy breakfast options, the ease and comfort, off course the spacious comfortable room, shower and facilities and the peaceful garden. The rooms are very clean (cleaned daily), the shower is soooo good! The hosts are wonderful people - very kind, flexible and always happy to help. The location is perfect - a peaceful spot away from the noise of cars/scooters in central Ubud. If you take a left, and walk 7 minutes you are at Monkey Forest. If you turn right, and walk approx 15 minutes you are in the center of Ubud for the palace gardens etc. There are also some very nice luxury spa's at 2-3 minute walking distance. If you are interested in the Yoga Barn, it's a 10-15 minute walk, and 1-3 minutes on a scooter. A big thank you to the Kyumari team - I cannot recommend them enough, and look forward to staying again!

Excellent! I would recommend this place

Everything was good. The staff was kind and friendly. He catered to our needs when we had to wake up early for Mt Batur tour and had to miss breakfast. He helped to prepare breakfast at a later time, 12pm.

Definitely worth the money.

Lovely and well-maintained property. The host(s) were warm, responsive and helpful and were more than happy to provide us breakfast a little before and after the scheduled times when required. The place itself is cute, and located close to the city centre.

The breakfast options are limited. For someone who does not eat egg, the options are limited to fruits and toast. Other than that, we had a lovely time here and would highly recommend the stay.

Spacious rooms, nice and modern, clean. Breakfast served in front of the room. Staff were super helpful in helping us organise transportation for the two days we were there (we got there very late and had not arranged anything beforehand). It's on a quiet street away from the extremely busy ubud traffic. However there are eating joints nearby, no need to walk a long way.

This is our second stay here and is firmly one of our favourite places to stay in Ubud. The owners are so kind and welcoming. It is great location and the garden is beautiful. We cannot recommend staying here enough. Cosy rooms, super clean, good breakfast and the most amazing owners.

Confortable/ Close to the Centre of Ubud

There are only 4 rooms at this accommodation, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. They are only about 4 years old. The owners are very kind and do a great tasty breakfast. The rooms are clean and well looked after. The beds are very comforable. The garden is neat and tidy. The facility is close to main areas of Ubud and there are plenty of restaurants just up the road.

Unfortunately, the rooms are adjacent to a larger hotel right on their side and you could hear their air conditioners and doors banging at night. Not appreciated if you are a light sleeper.

Really good Place in Ubud

Very comfortable room with nice Garden view and a very cozy bed. The staff was very lovely and the area was quiet at Night.

On the roof was something like a water tank and whenever anybody use water in their room i heard a Noise in my room. Also for me it was not so central as i expected.

A Lovely Place to Stay in Ubud!

The staff and property are absolutely lovely! They were able to accommodate our last-minute reservation and provided delicious breakfasts to our private patio each morning. Spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed, refrigerator, strong ac, and great hot-water shower. Located in a quiet and convenient place near the Monkey Forest. Highly recommended stay!!

Better than 5 star!

My stay at Kyumari exceeded my expectations! I went to a luxury hotel after my stay at Kyumari, and I felt that the service, cleanliness and overall comfort was actually better at Kyumari which was our budget stay! There were no odours in the bathroom which is a common issue in Ubud, the rooms were spotless and cleaned every day, no insects inside, the towels were soft as ever and cleaned every day, the beds was super comfy and large. Dewi went to the market every day to buy food for our breakfast, and I’m still dreaming about the banana pancakes I had every single day there! Lastly, the host was unbelievably kind and would go out of her way for her guests. It is also located in the centre of Ubud and you can walk to most places. For the price, I can’t fault the place!

A pool would be nice, but it’s not something we expected at the price we paid. There are many pool bars nearby that you can visit if you need to.

Amazing host at a lovely and quiet hotel!

First of all the amazing and so kind host! She was always eager to prepare the breakfast according to our requests and also provide any other support we needed. The hotel is at a small alley next to a main road, but it's super quiet. We had a room at the ground floor and we enjoyed also the small garden during breakfast. Many small markets,tour operators and coffee places are nearby, and there is another main road with even more options very close on foot. The room was super clean and we had daily changing of towels and generic clean. The bed was super big and very comfortable. We also enjoyed that we had the option to select different breakfast when we had the mood and have it ordered one day before.

All was perfect! Maybe the pillows are a bit thick for some people.

We spent the best 4 days in this place! Everything was very clean, comfortable and the most important thing: you feel yourself like at home. Energy is very soft and calm. Never felt like that before. Incredibly friendly and nice owners. They even posted my postcards for me after I had left. Nice breakfast with a variety of tasty fresh fruit delivered to the balcony every morning. Very comfortable and large bed. The fresh towels everyday smell really nice and pleasant. Complimentary water in your room every day.

The air-conditioning is a little noisy, which however did not bother me too much. The room was overall very nice and clean, but the shower head could have been a bit cleaner.

I have stayed 2 days. We had a very pleasant stay. Good sized room at heart of Ubud. From breakfast to room services are excellent. I would highly recommend this place
