Located is great, peaceful, room was good sized, helpful and friendly staff, who went out their way to help,,I had no hot water for the shower, was regased, in 10 minutes, & I asked for a kettel ,for coffee and tea, had 1 within minutes, would receive Dewi Ayu, for sure.

Cleaning of the room was superficial,! Should be cleaned with alot more effort, instead of a quick brush and mop & use Cleaning chemicals, breakfast was OK,no butter for spreading on toast.

The location was perfect for ease of shopping, eating and relaxing.

We had to ask for the hot water to be turned on, every time we wanted a shower. This was not a problem for the owners but you then had to wait for it to heat up and if plans change (which they do often) then you don't always have time to wait.

A peaceful oasis just off the street

The owners were great and made us feel so welcome. The location is perfect for walking around Ubud, just few steps from the street, Dewi Ayu is a peaceful oasis right on the edge of Monkey Forest.

No TV, but you really don't need one, the monkeys are entertainment enough!

Cosy quiet paradise

Lovely and very charming family run place. Very big and clean rooms with everything needed, comfy bed. Close to everything but quiet and in a beautiful garden. We had the rooms right next to the pool, we felt like kings. Walking distance to many sights. Kids loved the ( few and discrete) monkeys. Absolutely great value, we would definitely go back.

Wonderful place to stay in Ubud

The host is a person with a huge heart. When I lost my money , he allowed me to stay while solving problems. Fortunately, I used Tg-chat and transferred money to local agent and spent last 2 days in Ubud.

Monkeys in your garden and on your balcony!

Comfortable rooms with very friendly staff in a central location in Ubud, exactly in the middle between the monkey forest and the water palace. We had several monkeys in the garden and even on our balcony

Pool was a bit small and the room a bit empty (nothing on the walls), but we do enjoyed it and recommend the place

Breakfast included. Swimming pool. Pretty, well kept gardens. Peaceful location but very central.

You can do better for the same price bracket

The pool and location . Nice garden , big rooms

Stayed here 2 years ago and came back with my extended family and was disappointed this time. I booked 5 rooms , 3 ok , 2 had black mould and even a hole in the roof. No welcome or even hello on arrival , just insisted we all order breakfast for the next day and pay . This was all done in their alcove which basically is just off the street. So different to our earlier stay here where we went thru to the breakfast Pavillon , sat down had a cool drink and did the paperwork. It was odd and unlike any other place we stayed. Breakfast ordered the night before was really average , cold toast , pancake or jaffle and egg , occasionally jam if you were lucky! It was like it had been cooked in advance because it was literally served cold as soon as you sat down . All the rooms had towels but only 2 had any toiletries. No water in the rooms but told could have bottled water from the fridge in the Brekky Pavillon but that was always empty. Two rooms had baths but the plugs didn’t work. No hot water in 2 rooms but to their credit they changed the gas bottles when we could eventually find someone .It was like no maintenance has been done. Attention to detail was poor. It’s budget accomodation but delivered far less than equivalent priced places we stayed on this trip.

Beautiful, quiet and clean! Great location

Everything. The room was spacious and had great AC. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Very clean and nice room. Beautiful view of the pool. The pool looked so nice! I was unwell so I couldn’t swim… but I wish I could have. 5 min walk to the monkey forest and great shopping and food. Wonderful and kind staff. The staff brought me toast to my room when I couldn’t go out or eat anything else. It was really kind. When I couldn’t lock my room (user error) and I messaged the manager’s WhatsApp, the manager came down within minutes and showed me how to do it. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Even though it’s in the centre of Ubud, it’s quiet and peaceful. Stunning gardens and scenery. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful

We had the most accommodating host, and a beautiful setting, quietly tucked away on a busy street. Could not have asked for more. The air conditioner was super efficient! Grateful to have found this piece of paradise!

Great location, good value for money

Great location, we had a huge room at the back with a balcony. We had great views and loved it when the monkeys came to visit. Really close to loads of things and easy to hire a bike over the road to see further afield. I definitely recommend staying there.

There were a couple of days where the water was cold and the bathroom light was really dim but both were fixed while we were there so it was fine.

The entrance is on a busy street but rooms are situated in a quiet beautiful garden. Nice clean pool to cool down and chill on a sunbed. Me and my family loved it

we rented 4 rooms for 6 people. everything was nice and clean. Mr. Dewi Ayu the owner is very service oriented and is available at all times, when he is not busy cleaning the entire property. excellent stay in Ubud and good pricing. loved having bathtubs and pool. breakfast was good too. although in the morning you need to be aware of monkeys. there is a group of them roaming through the neighbourhood and collecting edibles.

Superb

The staff is very friendly and the property is really pretty, the garden around it especially. The location is great for getting around both in- and outside of Ubud, but comfortably quiet too. Every day we were there, monkeys passed by around sunset, allowing you to experience them in an even nicer way than at the Monkey forest. Value for money is exceptional. Definitely recommend this place!

We struggled a bit to find the place when we arrived as it looks like it's on the opposite side on Google maps, and the sign isn't huge. Buy surely the staff will help and provide a detailed description, if requested to. They reply quickly

Didn't want to leave

I highly recommend this property. Excellent location,very central to everything The room was quiet,clean, large with an outdoor sitting area . The property also had a pool which came in very handy on those extremely hot,sticky days. Will definitely be back

Perfect location, quiet place with a great pool

Guesthouse has great location 5-7 minutes walk to Monkey Forest, about 10-15 minutes walk to the main road with market and 15 minutes to big Coco supermarket. Territory is very green and beautiful. We stayed on the second floor near the pool. Our room had a small but very private balcony. Pool was clean and big enough to swim. It's a big plus to have a pool in Ubud (especially when it's hot outside). Place was quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple but not bad (tea or coffee, eggs, pancakes and small plate of fruits). It's possible to buy water and cold drinks directly from the guesthouse.

Air conditioning wasn't cool enough. No teapot. The facilities were a bit shabby and needed renovation. Shower ground had pebbles. Looks good but it's hard to take a shower without a flip flops. It will be great to have more options to rent a scooters (during our stay only Honda Scoopy was available) No shared kitchen or refrigerator. Wi-Fi can be improved (only YouTube worked fine).

Paisible !

Le staff était attentionné, je suis très heureuse de mon séjour, l’environnement généreux en végétation est très agréable et tranquille!

Au moment de ma réservation il était mentionné qu’une navette de l’aéroport pouvait être organisée avec l’établissement mais ce n’était malheureusement pas le cas. J’ai pris une offre de taxi proposée sur booking et ça s’est très bien passé.

Ubicación y personal excelente

El personal y la ubicación son excelentes. Pensábamos que no había desayuno pero sí lo hay, lo hacen casero ellos mismos al momento. El sitio es muy bonito, con jardines verdes y piscina. La habitación y baño muy amplios. No se oyen ruidos de la calle por la noche, así que se puede descansar bien.

La cama podría ser un poco más cómoda y la ducha se embozaba.
