Savanna Ubud

Dorms had double beds which were so comfy, shower facilities were clean and really liked the interior design. The food and drinks menu offered variety and was so reasonable. 80 for a cocktail! Swimming pool and view was stunning, had pool cleaners regularly collecting the leaves. Really enjoyed the seating area as well, by the pond with the fish. 15 min free massage! Cocktail menu was insane- loved the passionfruit Caiprihana Just felt so tranquil- such value for money.

I think the gym area could offer more equipment. Yoga class could be on later in the day, or offer 2. One in the morning and one around 6ish. Free breakfast could be on until 10.30am

The staff is incredibly friendly, and although the hotel is located in a very central area, it feels completely different once you step inside. You walk through the door and immediately feel a sense of calm and escape from the hustle and bustle of the street. The location is perfect, with everything you could need nearby, supermarkets, pharmacies, clothing stores, restaurants, and bars. It’s also a lovely area to walk around and explore. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, especially if you want to be close to everything while still having a peaceful atmosphere. ❤️

In my case, I stayed in a private room, and I think one small but important improvement would be to have a mini fridge in the room. I had to ask the staff to keep the bottles of water I purchased at the restaurant in their fridge so that I could have them cold. I think this would be a useful addition, not only for private rooms but also for guests staying in shared rooms. Another thing to keep in mind is that my room was located right next to the reception area. This wasn’t ideal at night, as I could hear conversations quite clearly when people were talking at reception. It would be helpful for the night staff to be mindful of the noise, especially for guests who are light sleepers, as I am.

This place is incredible. beautiful plants, little waterfall, amazing pool area and great breakfast. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. usually I don’t come to the same place twice, but in the future I will definitely come back to Savanna hostel. Shoutout to the staff who helped with anything. Super sweet staff.

Firstly, why I would not come back, is the mould. The amount of mould in the bathroom was honestly scary, that would never pass any safety. I had headaches and the smell was so strong. It was a health hazard. The ventilation works only if the light is on so we kept it on 24/7. This hotel is made typically for young hipsters, which we didnt know (my bad I guess?). We had to wear some bands/bracelets that you cant take off during your stay, like you are on a music festival or something. The breakfast was tasty but very small. Our room was next to reception which was 24/7 and it was sometimes loud in the morning that would wake me up. Music till late hours, overall young vibe - some people like it.
