A high service gem in a gorgeous vineyard

Fabulous setting among beautiful vineyards just one kilometer from one of our favorite restaurants in the world, the Trattoria at La Subida. Beautiful and practical room. Superb advice service from host Silia, who with her ebullient personality and resourcefulness is an important asset for the property and easily ranks in the top 5% of hosts we’ve ever had. Great breakfast.

The photos hide a lot of the reality and the accomodation has a lot of issues

The breakfast is good and some of the staff is friendly and helpful

This is not an agriturismo but just a B&B where a lady passes by to serve breakfast and then goes away. The rest of the day, there is nothing to do anymore. No coffee, no bar, nobody to contact, noboday to help with checkin... -The checkin is via a key lock and response to our questions was slow. -We were promised to get a "garden view", but actually we overlooked the garage entry in concrete. The reaction of the staff was: "at least, you see some of the neighbours garden if you look far ahead" -The room itself feels old, dark and is not as comfortable as the pictures on Booking would suggest (no carpet, poorly decorated, missing basic elements, the bathroom was not very clean...) -There are hardly any sockets, the Wifi was not working for the whole 5 days of our stay (a known problem, yet unfixable it seems) -There is only poor mobile coverage, so with the Wifi not working, it's time for digital detox... -The pool has a sharp edge in brick stone, not child friendly nor safe. Never seen this before -Some staff is not even making an effort during the weekend to serve the whole breakfast and reduces it to a minimum And last but not least: some reviews are submitted by the social media manager from Lithuania that was hired to stage the pictures and promote the accomodation...

Great Cormons stop for wine-lovers

Very good service, especially from Fiorella who was exceptional. Great wine tasting. Good location for walking into town.

More a question of what could be improved rather than anything we disliked. Would have liked a bit more variety for dinner and better facilities for relaxing outside.

Wonderful property in amongst the vineyards. Spacious bedrooms tastefully decorated. Breakfast in the morning was very good and a lovely peaceful location.

Great location with a view over vineyards, very relaxing. Pool is absolutely great. During this hot summer it was wonderful. The apartment was big, with a balcony. You can also seat at the tables next to the restaurant. The restaurant is open only for breakfasts and in the evening on weekends. In the evening it mainly serves appetizers, but all freshly made with great ingredients. On each evening it was full. It is a nice walk away from the center of Cormons. You can also buy there wines that are produced by the owners. Personnel was very nice, polite and helpful. All the ladies, at the restaurant and arranging accommodation were a pleasure to talk to. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Breakfast was tasteful but with quite limited and repetitive menu. On one day we have received a great freshly brewed coffee from the coffee machine, but on the other it was just instant coffee - which when you are in Italy is a real bummer. We thought that it is a typical bed and breakfast run by its owners, but it is a part of a chain of holiday accommodations located in different countries and so approach to customers is a bit different. For example there is a nespresso machine at the apartment, but you are only given 1 capsule per person for the first night. If you want more - you have to pay for the coffee. Which in most of the hotels is refilled daily at no cost. And also the capsules are not nespresso but some "no names" and are distasteful. So I would suggest to change it, especially that Cormons is so close to Trieste, home of Illy coffee :). And also only first bottle of water in the apartment is free. It is not a big deal or cost, but these small things are quite annoying.

Soggiornare tra le vigne

Ottima la colazione di grande qualità e varietà e presentata molto bene. Silvia e Natalia, davvero gentilissime e molto disponibili ci hanno consigliato diverse idee e spunti di luoghi da visitare per rendere il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Il B&B è in una posizione strategica per raggiungere tanti posti interessanti e nello stesso tempo è molto rilassante perché immerso in un bel giardino con piscina tra le vigne.

Leuke plek, maar mankeert een uitbater

Due Del Monte is gelegen in Italië, net over de grens met Slovenië in een mooie wijnstreek. Voor we aankwamen ontvingen we van Silvia een berichtje met de code die we nodig hadden om in de kamer te gaan. Dit was vriendelijk en handig. Het ontbijt is elke dag hetzelfde, maar wel met lekkere en lokale producten (toch in de week). In de week wordt je ´s morgens bedient door Silvia, een super gastvrouw. Ze reserveerde ook enkele malen een restaurantje voor ons. Ook kregen we de eerste ochtend een goede uitleg met wat er te doen valt in de buurt. Het zwembad bracht verkoeling op warme dagen en op vraag worden er per kamer ook 2 grote handdoeken voorzien. De kamer was ruim en goed te verduisteren, ook de airco werkte best goed.

Leuke plek, maar te duur voor wat je in ruil krijgt. Ligt aan het ontbreken van een manager of uitbater en dan loopt het, vooral in het weekend, wat mank. Het ontbijt is dan minder dan in de week en dus onvoldoende. We verbleven 6 nachten en moesten zelf vragen om nieuwe handdoeken, het legen van de vuilbakken of toiletpapier. Kuisen werd geen enkele keer gedaan. Bij een lang verblijf is dit niet fijn. Ook bij aankomst was de kamer niet heel proper. De kamer heeft amper stopcontacten en eigenlijk allemaal in gebruik. Grote kleerkast, toch weinig mogelijkheid tot opbergen. De WiFi werkte amper, dit kwam door een storm enkele dagen voor we aankwamen. Dit werd doorgegeven aan de manager volgens Silvia, maar dit werd ons hele verblijf niet opgelost. Na de middag is er niemand meer in de B&B, dus kan je niets meer vragen of drinken ofzo.

Ontspannen en verzorgd

locatie is erg mooi, op 15 minuten lopen van dorp, met verschillende eetgelegenheden dichterbij. Ontbijt was heerlijk en service van Sylvia erg attent en vrolijk. Fijn zwembad. Dankjewel

Waterkoker voor thee op de kamer had ik fijn gevonden, nu alleen koffie en koelkast.

Optisch sehr schön, jedoch im Detail mangelhaft

Geräumiges, sehr ansprechend eingerichtes Zimmer, tolles Badezimmer mit Regendusche, Parkplatz vor der Türe, netter Pool (fast zu warm und eher seicht) sehr gutes, reichliches Frühstück, serviert von sehr netten Mitarbeiterinnen. In guter Nähe zu Cormons und Gorizia. Gut funktionierende Klimanlage.

Die technische Ausstattung des Zimmers ist leider nicht am letzten Stand, die beschriebenen Steckdosen neben dem Bett sind nur verfügbar, wenn die Nachttischlampen abgesteckt werden, ansonsten gibt es im Zimmer nur eine weitere freie Steckdose für Mobilphone oder ähnliches. Für TV, Receiver, Eiskasten und Kaffemaschine gibt es nur 2 passende Steckdosen - dazu muss man auch noch den Föhn, der im Bad bereitgestellt wird anstecken, da der Stecker nicht in den Badstecker passt. Das Metallgestellbett sieht optisch sehr nett aus, quietscht aber bei jeder Bewegung und ist nicht sehr kopmfortabel. Wir waren nur 2 Nächte im Buccara B&B und ab dem 2 Tag nachmittags hatten wir kein warmes Wasser mehr, was bei Temperaturen über 30C nicht besonders angenehm ist. Es wurde uns dann die Behebung durch einen Techniker für den nächsten Tag zugesagt, aber davon hatten wir ja nichts mehr, da wir ja am nächsten Tag schon abgereist sind. Die Mitarbeiterin vor Ort war wirklich sehr bemüht und hat uns als kleine Wiedergutmachung eine Flasche Wein geschenkt. Ich finde aber in Anbetracht der zuvor angeführten Widrigkeiten hat hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gepasst.

Heel fijn verblijf met een lekker croissantje voor ontbijt.

De rust, het zwembad, de ruime kamer en de omgeving vol wijnhuizen. Geweldig!

We hadden een vrij hard matras in tegenstelling tot onze vrienden die in een andere kamer verbleven. Verder was alles super.

Idealer Platz für den von uns dort verbrachten Kurzurlaub

Tolles Frühstück, hervorragender Kaffee, super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal; tolle Lage am Rande von Cormons - ideal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und nach Triest, Udine, Goricia und auch nach Slowenien...

Hatten Zimmer über der Garage / dem Keller. War nicht sonderlich hell und der Blick war auch nur eingeschränkt gut. Balkon war quasi nicht zu benutzen, weil direkt über Kellerabfahrt...

Ideal para relax y visitar la región de Friuli

Un lugar muy tranquilo, con buena ubicación para visitar la zona. Habitación amplia y muy limpia. Silvia, la encargada del B&B es muy amable y servicial. Nos dio muy buenas ideas para hacer visitas, nos ayudó con las reservas para cenar. Ella hace que el B&B sea especial, el desayuno espectacular. La piscina es muy tranquila, ideal para estar de relax al estar el B&B en una zona rural.

Una pena que no tenga restaurante ni opción de comer algo de picoteo para disfrutar más de la piscina.

Großzügiges Zimmer, edle Einrichtung, sehr ruhig, sehr gutes Bett. Angeschlossenes Restaurant mit ausgezeichneten eigenen Weinen und ausgesprochen freundliches englisch sprechendes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit hoher Qualität; keine in Plastik verpackten Lebensmittel. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft mit großartigem Bett und viel Platz im Zimmer in einer wunderschönen Kulturlandschaft. Dazu sehr freundliche, entspannte und zuvorkommende Mtarbeiterinnen. Grandioses Frühstück! Das Restaurant bietet hervorragende Speisen und eine Auswahl grandioser Weine aus dem Collio.
