The breakfast staff were lovely

I initially booked/ paid 444 Euro for a Jr Suite from 11/11 to 11/13 2025. I then booked an extra night for 11/13/25 to 11/14/25. I called the hotel in advance to ask if I could stay in same room and was told that “ yes” I could. What I did not understand and that was unbeknownst to me, was that my room was “ downgraded” to a queen sized room, however I was still expected to pay the “ suite price” for 11/12 and 11/13 for 444 Eur. I was then told by the reception that if I canceled with Booking. Com on 11/14/25, they would discount the room for 104 Euro. So I canceled with Booking.Com per their suggestion. I thought, however that I would get that discounted price for the SMALLER room for the entire stay, since It is so much less per night for a much smaller ( queen size bed) I called Booking.com to say that my room should be less since it was SMALLER and was told by your customer service that “ I needed to work that out with the hotel directly” Of course, the hotel said I needed to work it out with Booking. Com for the lower price ( smaller room), so I was being bounced around like a ping pong ball!!! The hotel became so annoyed with me trying to get the lower price for the now smaller room, they actually canceled the room I was supposed to stay in on 11:14/25 thus leaving me without a room to stay in ( essentially kicking me out). It was UNBELIEVABLE. I asked WHY?. I was simply told your room is no longer available for 11/14/25. In addition, this “very young” and RUDE female had such a horrible attitude, it was appalling. I told her this about herself, which made the hotel personnel even more annoyed, rather than saying, “ I’m so terribly sorry for the confusion, what can we do to resolve this?”

A very pleasant stay in lovely Gorizia

Great stay with clean room and accommodating staff

Great stay, as a solo female traveler I found that staff were very friendly and accommodating to my check in late in the evening. The room was very clean and I had a great nights sleep and enjoyed the variety of breakfast items offered in the morning.

You must call the reception desk on the room phone in order to adjust air conditioning which I struggled with during the night as I did not realise that the room phone had to be manually connected. Other than this, great overall stay

Location great to enjoy the visit!

Location is great. Short distance to city center. Breakfast is good and the room we got in the second place was very nice. Thank you to the staff, which changed our room directly due to a problem in the bathroom.

The lobby is currently under construction and some of the rooms deserves some "reconstruction" too. Rooms can be quite tiny . Bathroom itself is ok.

Very nice and welcoming staff :) Clean and comfortable room. Perfect location. A few minutes from the train station with the bus and a few minutes from the city center by foot. Highly recommended

Breakfast was very good. Loved the terrace. We requested a balcony and were given a terrace. The room was very clean.

Superb

We were traveling to Gorizia for Classical Guitar Competition and we were searching accommodation which is walking distance to city center. Best Western Gorizia Hotel is the place. Hotel is not modern but it is clean, has good breakfast, has free parking space and it is walking distance to everything in Gorizia. One of best pizza/pasta restaurants is next to the hotel. I would say it is good value for money.
