4 star is the new 3 star

- the hotel had a minibar with soft drinks - there is a car charging station next to the hotel - it has all the practical services for a traveller

- the pet friendliness costs 20 EURs, but you do not get anything with it, not even a bowl for water - the hotel does not look and feel like a 4 star hotel

Excellent airport hotel that exceeded expectations

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious, filled with natural light, and everything felt new and made from high-quality materials. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. Free parking is available, which is very convenient. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast starts as early as 5:00 am, which is ideal for travelers with early flights. Espresso coffee is served for breakfast upon request.

Breakfast was briefly very busy, and there were no free tables at one point. However, the staff quickly arranged a table for us. This seemed more like a timing coincidence than a real issue. We would appreciate a little bit more toiletries in the bathroom.

Convenient if you have early morning flight.

Comfortable and quiet for one night prior to an early morning flight from Trieste. The restaurant was very good.

There is no shuttle to the airport and taxi called by the hotel charged me €25 euro for less than 10 minute drive. That seems excessive.

I would not recommend this place

It was pretty clean but the room had a nauseatingly pervasive smell of a cleaning product.

The bathroom is an eyesore with a shower so small that when you put your arms up to wash your hair you hit the walls. The location is terrible… right behind a strip mall in the middle of nowhere with no shuttle to the airport. 5 minute taxi ride to the airport is 25 euros.

Very conveniently located for the airport. Staff were unbelievably helpful and efficient at sorting out our (very) early morning breakfast and taxi to the airport. Very good evening meal as well.

Close to airport. Big shopping market next door was very convenient. Police stay there, so felt very safe.

The room was warm and not able to adjust temperature. Cobwebs on walls. Dated decor.

The air-conditioning system in the room did not work. Due to the special window, room refreshing was ineffective. Use to be value for money accommodation, lately they increase the prices and are disregard on the limit.

very nice airport stopover.

The hotel interior is very convenient, the reception, lifts and restaurant all visible on entry. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. No outside noise. The restaurant staff were particularly good at their jobs. Dinner was nice and range of choices for breakfast.

Dissapointment

Close proximitry to the airport. Good reakfast (continentall only thouugh). Nice interrior.

Room smelled like dump and very warm. Despite turning on aircon to the lowest possible temperature if was still warm. At the end we turned off, opened windows.and left them open all night to get some cool air. The beds are not comfy at all. Hard uncomfortable matress. Bedding with just sheet on top and duvet left in the wardrobe with no linen on. No kettle or coffe/tea maker.

Would stay there again.

We chose this hotel and location because of its proximity to the airport. Alexander at the hotel was very hospitable and friendly. The rest of the staff as well. I wish I would have remembered all their names. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The only thing that I will complain about was the Taxi service from the hotel to the airport. The driver charged us 20 euros for a mile ride where we paid a lot less for taxi services taking us to further locations during our vacation. Definitely stiff price and he wasn't friendly. We tipped all the other drivers with the exception of this guy who didn't even assist with our luggage while all the other drivers did.
