Great spot for an overnight stay, close to the airport, super friendly host ❤️

Super close to the airport. Great people, lovely welcome. Beautiful room and bathroom had everything we needed for a simple stay. We were able to use the fridge for food storage in the kitchen. Loved the idea of the bar downstairs.

The pool was out of use due to renovations and we were hoping for a swim 🤣 There was maintenance or building work happening until midnight.

Nice b&b close to the airport, but small room

Very nice bed and airconditioning. Close to the airport, ideal for a last night on holiday.

Very small shower and bathroom, one person at a time. Also the room is small. Average hotel room has more space. The swimming pool on the pictures was not there. There was a temporary pool, but it was not operational.

It was a pleasant place to stay for a couple of nights.

Good location. We travel by bicycle and it was a good spot to land from our flight and put our bicycles together for touring. The owner was not there when we arrived and it was difficult for us to check in after a long flight. The room was clean, quite small and a little noisy with people visiting and talking outside of our room. The location is quite pretty with a nice green yard. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice location out of Trieste.

Interesting property

Quiet area; clean; very good breakfast. If you like history and a house with old charm - this is for you.

The host was upset we didn’t arrive at the exact time we said we would and messed up some of his plans for the day. He indirectly suggested we should have booked a hotel with 24h reception, even though we were only slightly late and anyway within their specified check-in interval. If you are in the B&B business, you should accommodate your guests and not the other way around.

More of a luxury B&B than an airport hotel

This was so much better than we expected. It is an airport hotel but felt more like a luxury b&B. Our host was gorgeous and gave us a brief history tour of the WW1 bunker that now serves as the breakfast room, along with local war artefacts. The rooms were pretty and felt very traditional Italian. The breakfast was generous and there are bikes available so you can cycle along the river

Hospitality at its best!

B&B Isonzo is a wonderful friendly place. The location is perfect either to airport Trieste or main autoroute. Family owned small hotel, clean well-decorated, comfortable rooms, pets allowed. Thank you Tiziano and Grazia for your hospitality!

If you want to be close to the airport pick a hotel with an airport shuttle

Quiet location in walking distance to the small town

The owner wasn’t there to check us in despite having called twice. It’s close to the airport but you are totally dependent on getting a taxi to get there. We had the owner arrange one & we were overcharged

Not a nice experience

We booked a private room (with bathroom) - when in the middle of the night we found out that our bathroom was SHARED with a room next door and another guest was using it! Moreover, the electricity was gone in the middle of the night - so no AC was working and no lights were on so we had to pack in the dark and we couldn't use the breakfast facilities although we paid for it. After sending SMS to the owner before departure that there is no electricity and after sending him an email through the system, even a week later, we didn't get any apology or a refund from their side. (On the other hand, the Booking.com customer service was very professional, responded and offered us a credit)

Normal breakfast, liked the pastry. A little bit of fruit would have been nice. Very friendly host, who was really eager to show us his breakfast room and to convince us to have breakfast there. Everything fitted to our themed room, even the toilet paper.

Breakfast was not inclusive but had to be paid extra. Check your time of arrival in advance - we had to wait for some time although we agreed on a certain time. Yet, he apologized and offered a drink to us in return for keeping us waiting. Our room could have been a little cleaner (e.g. a lot of dust under our bed).

Beautiful place - wish we could stay longer!

Authentic, old family house with more history and attention to detail than the finest boutique hotels we have seen.

Transportation might be a challenge, but we were lucky that our host, Tiziano, took good care of us and arranged transportation to/from the B&B.

Beyond expected

Good location, close to the center of the town. Nice small guest-house with very helpful host. The Family Room included well furnished 2 bedrooms and big bathroom. It was nice to find a friendly note from the owner at a breakfast table :)
