Pleasant weekend.

Monvidal - THE place to stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Monvidal in Pula, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the bed — incredibly comfortable, with premium quality bedding that made for the most restful nights I've had in a long time. It's the kind of sleep you don't take for granted when you're travelling. Beyond that, everything about the hotel was top-notch. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything I needed. Pula itself is a stunning destination, and Monvidal makes the perfect base to explore it. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I will absolutely be returning and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Monvidal — a truly memorable stay!

Friendly professional and caring

I liked the friendly and the attention to the guests. Felt really welcomed. The rooms are nice. Simple but good taken care of. Comfortable and very conveniently located. The staff really tried hard to make you feel good and pleased all our needs. I will be back

Nothing really excepts small detail the bed was still prepared for summer and warm weather, but not for winter however they immediately provide blankets.

Exceptional Boutique hotel near Pula old town.

A great adult only boutique hotel up the hill, in a residential area of Pula, close to the old town and a 10 minute walk to the historic arena. Contemporary rooms decorated to a high standard, clean and comfortable, new towels and rooms made up daily. 2 small pools with sunbeds. Nice walled courtyard planted with a number of small olive trees to chill in with a Mediterranean feel, plenty of sofas and seats to lounge in. Small breakfast area / bar, with optional choice of continental breakfast / coffees (at an additional cost) This is a small welcoming hotel with hosts Mateo and Momo who run the hotel, making sure all their guests got the best attention at all times.(big up to these guys they were exceptional hosts!) We Would recommend this accommodation for couples and small groups looking for a quieter place to stay with character not far from the old town of Pula. As it’s located up on the hill from the old town and water front, so it could be more of a challenge for less able bodied people to get around but Taxis are quite cheap if ordered via the ‘Bolt’ app.

Fabulous four days away.

Lovely hotel close to the centre - for us it was about 8 mins to get to the arena. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Milos was very friendly and happy to share his local knowledge for bar and restaurant recommendations.

Desadvised to book a stay

The personnel at breakfast was correct and friendly, which is in contradiction with the personnel at the entrance at arrival

This is more like a youth hostel, not a 4-star hotel. Rooms need maintenance. Maybe it should be considered to put bulbs in the chandelier, without is looking rather poor, and keeps it dark in the room. If renewing, please ask someone to apply some paint at the walls, and redo the furniture. This was looking more as being collected in a local container park. Very poor insulation for sounds. Being in your room everything can be followed in the corridor, and conversations in the rooms next to you. Absolute not worth the value.

quiet place close to the center

Everything was perfect - we have arrived late and Milos has informed us in advance how to get to our room and even has sent a video how to get there. He also was always on-site and gave us information about what we could do and we were always able to contact him if needed. The terrace was gorgeous and the pool was really nice, can definitely recommend it 100%

Very well located with helpfukl and friendly staff

Very well located in a residential area at a 5 min walk from the old town. You can park your car for free in front of the hotel, leave it there and avoid expensive parking costs in the town center. The manager Milos and his team were very helpful. Milos provided us with many insider tips for excursions, restaurants and bars , which a regular tourist would not have known. He definitely added a surplus to our stay and we want to thank him for that. Breakfast was tasty. Even though you have to pay extra for it, you can have breakfast for +/- 12 euro a person if you make a good selection.

Given the fairly high price, I would have expected a room in a perfect condition without plaster coming off the wall in the bathroom. The door towards the little terrace has no curtain. Given the high room rate, pool towels should be without an extra charge of 5 euro.

Perfect city break

Very nice large room with large bathroom, great clean pool, extremely polite and nice hosts. They gave me two small cakes as it was my birthday. Nice touch. Thanks. Very good breakfast a la carte. Ham and eggs 7€.

A hidden gem, a little oasis, would really recommend.

What a little gem! A small hotel hidden away, but only 10 mins or so from the town. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The pools were beautifully clean and plenty of sun beds available. We had booked for a rest, and it was just what we needed, peaceful, calm and relaxing.

Breakfast menu, too small tables and very uncomfortable chairs for breakfast practically located in the sun. Waiter not skilled for the job. No sun umbrellas and planted olive trees do not give sufficient shade.

Highly recommend

Very nice and cozy place. Spacious room with immediate access to the patio with the pool. Very friendly and accommodating and attentive staff. We received complimentary drinks delivered to us by the pool. Poor very clean and well maintained. Not in the immediate center but within a walking distance in a quiet area, which was perfect for a relaxing time

Fantastic little hotel where nothing was too much trouble. Met by Milos on the desk, what an asset he is to this business, charming, helpful, professional, welcoming, friendly. he made us feel instantly at home and instantly on holiday. We arrived on an extremely early flight and I had informed the hotel in advance hoping we could drop our suitcases off. Better than that, because of my request they had our room ready for us when we arrived at 9.30am which was so helpful. Loved it here, would highly recommend. Easy 10 minute walk to the amphitheatre, further 5 minute beautiful stroll into the center of the historic town of Pula. A little gem of a hotel.

Inviting and comfortable stay

Excellent location close to the Arena. Our host Milos made our stay so much better. He was so willing to help us plan our visit and he was entertaining to spend time with. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Our favourite part was sitting in the garden for breakfast listening to the really good music. It was perfect

Exceptional boutique hotel with friendly service

The staff and facilities are excellent. Beautiful pool and garden. A la carte breakfast very tasty. Complimentary water to keep you hydrated - refilled all day if you sit at the tempting pool. The reception and waiting staff - Sofia and the lovely milos were exceptional. Milos went out of the way with recommends for restaurants, booking them and helping us with onward travel.. Nothing was too much trouble. Great standard of cleanliness - the house keepers were friendly and did not disturb you.

It would be standard practice to offer pool towels instead of expecting guests to provide their own. Also perhaps offer a set breakfast as well as a la carte. But the food was lovely and healthy.

Very good service at a very comfortable hotel in Pula

The two young men running the hotel were outstanding: very friendly and extremely helpful, our room was upgraded on arrival, they brought fresh fruit to us at the pool, they helped us out with luggage storage and taxi. They are doing a terrific job! The hotel is modern, attractive, relaxed. You can sit outside for breakfast and one of the pools is a decent size for swimming.
