Exceptional Boutique hotel near Pula old town.

A great adult only boutique hotel up the hill, in a residential area of Pula, close to the old town and a 10 minute walk to the historic arena. Contemporary rooms decorated to a high standard, clean and comfortable, new towels and rooms made up daily. 2 small pools with sunbeds. Nice walled courtyard planted with a number of small olive trees to chill in with a Mediterranean feel, plenty of sofas and seats to lounge in. Small breakfast area / bar, with optional choice of continental breakfast / coffees (at an additional cost) This is a small welcoming hotel with hosts Mateo and Momo who run the hotel, making sure all their guests got the best attention at all times.(big up to these guys they were exceptional hosts!) We Would recommend this accommodation for couples and small groups looking for a quieter place to stay with character not far from the old town of Pula. As it’s located up on the hill from the old town and water front, so it could be more of a challenge for less able bodied people to get around but Taxis are quite cheap if ordered via the ‘Bolt’ app.

Fabulous four days away.

Lovely hotel close to the centre - for us it was about 8 mins to get to the arena. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Milos was very friendly and happy to share his local knowledge for bar and restaurant recommendations.

Zum übernachten zweckmäßig.

Auf den ersten Blick schaut das Hotel super aus. Auf den zweiten dann doch eher abgewohnt und abgeranzt. Das Personal war allerdings sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Schimmel im Zimmer/ Badezimmer. Dadurch sehr muffige schlechte Luft. Benutzung der Sanitäranlagen in anderen Zimmern war unverhältnismäßig laut zu hören. In der 1. Nacht war die ganze Nacht über ein lautes Wasserrauschen zu hören.

Desadvised to book a stay

The personnel at breakfast was correct and friendly, which is in contradiction with the personnel at the entrance at arrival

This is more like a youth hostel, not a 4-star hotel. Rooms need maintenance. Maybe it should be considered to put bulbs in the chandelier, without is looking rather poor, and keeps it dark in the room. If renewing, please ask someone to apply some paint at the walls, and redo the furniture. This was looking more as being collected in a local container park. Very poor insulation for sounds. Being in your room everything can be followed in the corridor, and conversations in the rooms next to you. Absolute not worth the value.

Io e Ale abbiamo trascorso 8 giorni davvero indimenticabili al Monvidal di Pola, soggiorno reso ancora più speciale grazie all'accoglienza e alla professionalità di Milos, un host semplicemente unico. Fin dal primo momento si è dimostrato attento, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza con gentilezza, ma allo stesso tempo discrezione. Un gesto che mi ha colpito particolarmente? Più di una volta ha ritirato personalmente i nostri panni stesi per evitare che prendessero umidità. Un’attenzione rara, che dimostra quanto tenga davvero al benessere degli ospiti. Milos è una persona umanamente speciale e professionalmente impeccabile: sempre pronto a dare ottimi consigli su cosa visitare, dove mangiare (andate assolutamente al Backyard Restaurant!!!!) o come organizzare al meglio le giornate. Grazie a lui ci siamo sentiti davvero accolti, come a casa. Anche la colazione è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa: il pane caldo con burro e marmellata era eccezionale! P.S: Hai letto letteralmente nel pensiero Alessandro per quanto riguarda la macchina... grazie infinite e non aggiungo altro! Consigliamo questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere una vacanza a Pula con la certezza di essere seguiti da qualcuno che fa il proprio lavoro con passione e umanità. Grazie di cuore, Milos! <3

Hotel ima specifican enterijer,dva prelepa bazena na koje izlaze sobe, nalazi se u mirnom delu grada a na samo 9min peske od Arene. Posebno bih naglasila ljubaznost Miloša koji je bio tu za sve sto nam je bilo potrebno, plus nam je dao neke njegove preporuke.

Nema sve sto zahteva da ima hotel sa 4zvezdice,dorucak se naplacuje,tako da smatram da ne vredi dati novac.

quiet place close to the center

Everything was perfect - we have arrived late and Milos has informed us in advance how to get to our room and even has sent a video how to get there. He also was always on-site and gave us information about what we could do and we were always able to contact him if needed. The terrace was gorgeous and the pool was really nice, can definitely recommend it 100%

Very well located with helpfukl and friendly staff

Very well located in a residential area at a 5 min walk from the old town. You can park your car for free in front of the hotel, leave it there and avoid expensive parking costs in the town center. The manager Milos and his team were very helpful. Milos provided us with many insider tips for excursions, restaurants and bars , which a regular tourist would not have known. He definitely added a surplus to our stay and we want to thank him for that. Breakfast was tasty. Even though you have to pay extra for it, you can have breakfast for +/- 12 euro a person if you make a good selection.

Given the fairly high price, I would have expected a room in a perfect condition without plaster coming off the wall in the bathroom. The door towards the little terrace has no curtain. Given the high room rate, pool towels should be without an extra charge of 5 euro.

Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt, tolle Betreuung

Die Monvidal Residence liegt etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, es ist aber alles fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt zwei Pools, das Zimmer hatte eine Badewanne und einen kleinen Balkon - alles sehr zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Das Frühstück war A-la-carte und jedes mal ein besonderer Start in den Tag, was nicht zuletzt an der rundum guten Betreuung durch Milos, Tanja und Luka und dem ganzen Hotel-Team lag. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde jederzeit nochmal buchen.

A hidden gem, a little oasis, would really recommend.

What a little gem! A small hotel hidden away, but only 10 mins or so from the town. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The pools were beautifully clean and plenty of sun beds available. We had booked for a rest, and it was just what we needed, peaceful, calm and relaxing.

Breakfast menu, too small tables and very uncomfortable chairs for breakfast practically located in the sun. Waiter not skilled for the job. No sun umbrellas and planted olive trees do not give sufficient shade.

Very nice and cozy place. Spacious room with immediate access to the patio with the pool. Very friendly and accommodating and attentive staff. We received complimentary drinks delivered to us by the pool. Poor very clean and well maintained. Fantastic little hotel where nothing was too much trouble. Met by Milos on the desk, what an asset he is to this business, charming, helpful, professional, welcoming, friendly. he made us feel instantly at home and instantly on holiday. We arrived on an extremely early flight and I had informed the hotel in advance hoping we could drop our suitcases off. Better than that, because of my request they had our room ready for us when we arrived at 9.30am which was so helpful. Loved it here, would highly recommend. Easy 10 minute walk to the amphitheatre, further 5 minute beautiful stroll into the center of the historic town of Pula. A little gem of a hotel.

Wunderschönes Hotel

Wir waren für eine Nacht in dem Hotel weil Pula ein Zwischenstopp war. Milos war beim Check-In so freundlich und hat uns die Anlage gezeigt sowie einen eigens erstellten Flyer mit seinen persönlichen Ausflug, Strand, Bar und Restaurant Highlights gegeben. Parken konnte man kostenlos direkt am Eingang. Das Hotel hat 2 Pools, und wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und so direkten Zugang zu einem der Pools. Das Bett war sehr bequem und eine Klimaanlage ist auch vorhanden. Wir werden beim nächsten Mal definitiv wieder hier ein Zimmer buchen!
