Every aspect of our stay was fantastic – amazing location, great price, comfortable room, good breakfast and the staff were super helpful too. The location is close to the amphitheatre, the waterfront and the old town and the bus station is a 5 minute walk for the airport bus. We'll be going back!

A very pleasant and comfortable stay in an outstanding location.

All aspects of our stay - location, comfort, price, room, breakfast, staff were excellent. The location, close to the Roman amphitheatre, the waterfront and the old town was the outstanding feature.

If one were looking hard for something negative to say, perhaps the excellent buffet breakfast could provide a better range of cereals.

Excellent Stay in a central location

The location is perfect -right in the heart of the old town.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.The room was modern and tastefully decorated.I appreciated the comfortable bed.It was also a nice touch to have coffee and tea availabity in the room. Overall the hotel had a very warm and pleasant atmosphere.I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city of Pola.

Excellent stay

Super friendly staff, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Really great people The location is perfect and the rooms are really big. Brand new bathrooms, bed is big and comfortable. You get some proper pillows and a huge closet in each room. 10/10

Excellent location. Nice buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Nicely designed spacious interiors. Top cleanliness.

Bed uncomfortable. Bedding was not up to par compared to the rest of the interiors and services. Cheap linen considering the price per night charge. Really large (old) puffy pillows, offering no support. Major issue: the hotel does not have staff on reception after 10PM, overnight. On my second night of stay the fire alarm went off at 4:30AM, and there was nobody to contact in case of emergency. One of the guests called the police and fire brigade, who arrived quickly but were not able to contact any staff responsible for such circumstances. It was very distressing.

Good value next to the amfitheater

The location is great, just next to the roman arena and with short walks to the center or bus station. The staaf was very nice and helpful. I arrived several hours before actual check in time but got my room immediatedly. The room was big and spacious and fully equipped. Everything including AC worked fine, there was even a massage chair. The breakfast was good.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

The hotel is well located - close to historical sights, the waterfront, restaurants and shops. The hotel's facilities are very good. My room was a good size and very clean. The hotel's dining room is well set out for guests and offers a good range of refreshments. The hotel's staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointing

Location is central, room is clean

Way too hot in the room, even though it was just early May. Airco is no good at all. A lot of city noise, including dance bassbeats until 3.30. Didn't sleep much. Moreover, when you ask the hotel to get you a taxi to the airport you'd expect them to call a reliable one. The one they offered asked 35 euro cash only. Normally, on meter or regular fixed rate would be about 15 euro... This is criminal to tourists...

The location is fantastic - right next to the amphitheatre and go two minutes the other way and you have all the shops, bars and restaurants. Air conditioned room. Great value too.

Great friendly staff, excellent location. Hotel is located right next to Arena, which provide every single historical corner of the town in radius of 500-700meters. Cute and deliciated food at hotel's Restaurante located just few meters next to hotel. I would stay there again, and I'll recommend.

The worst experience ever in Europe

Do not book this hotel or if you do make sure it’s not an apartment. We booked because of location. On check in they told us we were in an apartment a few kilometres away. In the middle of nowhere. No amenities. Airbnb I am sorry I am coming back and may never book a hotel again.

Terrible apartment, avoid.

Bad place, dirty apartment full of cockroaches, the toilet was losing water, the bed completely damage and not even the toilet paper in the bathroom. Absolutely avoid, for that price is a scam.

Clean property, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, neat compact kitchen with great views down to old town Zadar. Friendly, helpful staff.

We booked this hotel as it was near the waterfront as we had a 7am ferry the following morning however when details came through we discovered the apartment wasn’t actually at the hotel but in a separate block at least a 15 minute walk (without cases) away from the old town. No air conditioning in the bedrooms so very hot. Also some facilities were not properly assembled. Had to reconnect slats on bed, no shower curtain so hard to avoid water going on the bathroom floor & bar stools in kitchen area were loose & wobbly. Also the apartment is on the 4th floor & when we were there the lift was broken.

Avoid this proprety

I chose this proprety as it was listed to 2 minutes far away from Arena in Pula (street Amfiteatarska 6). It was important for me to be near Arena and that was the reason why I booked this hotel. However, after the booking is made, the hotel sent message that I would be located in an apartment 20 min away from Arena (Vrtlarska 6). No changes have been made to the reservation page in Booking, and this page was my primary reference point for location of the hotel. I did not check the addresses as I did not expect that after the reservation, I will be sent somewhere else,for sure not 20 minutes away. The apartment that I was sent to, is not listed on official web site of the hotel, and it did not have clear marks that it is part if the hotel. I did not feel safe as I did not know what is the deal (link) between hotel and the appartment. When I complained, and asked for compesation in terms at least to get trasportation to and from Arena (before and after the venue I was attending in Arena), it was rejected. Customer experiance was very, very poor without any courtesy. High price was paid for hotel beside Arena, but as I did not get room there, I would say that value for money was veey poor. Explantion provided for not updating main reservation page on Booking, was that they have some problems with Booking. My overal impresion was that I was deceived and no one cared about it and that left very bad impression on my stay in Pula. If you are still considering stay in this hotel, check the location of your apartment before coming to Pula. And do not expect any courtesy at the reception.

We thought we booked appartment in the hotel at hotel location but hotel booked as at the apartment which was far from the hotel location. This was never explained to us. We got the message with the new address at the date of our arrival.

Location not as expected.

Bedroom and bathroom clean and perfectly adequate. Near to sea, old town and Amphitheatre..

The fact that the described location did not mention the hideous block of flats behind and not one mention of this in the reviews. Hence the choice of a rear room with a terrible view of the flats or a front view facing the sea and noisy car park. The noise from revving motorbikes and people shouting went well into the night. I find it extremely evasive that the photos shown of this hotel are careful to show the side of the hotel with Amphitheatre but deliberately avoiding what's behind. My photos hopefully illustrate this adequately, Not sure what else to say as we came away unhappy because we didn't get what we thought due to the carefully described location. The hotel should be honest about this in my view.
