Unimpressed.

Good shower. Secure.

Charging for air con! Booking.com stated all charges were included but the owner charges an extra 5 eur. The single rooms are like a prison cell and the beds not much better. Very uncomfortable. No proper bedding just a simple sheet . There's stained duvets without covers in the cupboards. A cockroach was in my room the 2nd night. Noise and banging from neighbours (tenants in same building?) getting up and leaving for work at 4am. I don't recommend staying here unless you have no other choice. Also it's a fair walk to the town and bus station.

Great if you want a cheap price, not if you want quality.

It was cheap. That's all I can say.

I booked this room several months in advance. The ad clearly says 'credit card accepted'. A few days beforehand, the owner messaged me to say cash payments only, claiming there was some kind of issue with the bank. I said no. We agreed on Revolut. He did not know how Revolut worked. I had to show him. When I checked in, he spent about 30 minutes talking me through every last detail, including how a fridge works. It was unnecessary. I can see from the reviews that many people like the owner so it's up to each person to judge. However, for me I felt it odd that, when he was showing me the room, he came into the room twice. Fine for me as a guy, but perhaps not for other travellers. The room was small. The AC cost an extra e5 a night. Thin walls. Could hear everything from neighbouring room and corridor, and every time someone got a coffee from the vending machine. The property has a gate on the door so getting in and out is a bit contrived. The bathroom was small with no gap between the toilet and shower. My room came with a brush to sweep away the water after a shower. As a whole this place is fine if you want the cheapest private room in Pula, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent opportunity for single travelers looking for an affordable stay in a good location.

Great location, walking distance from Pula amphitheatre and city centre yet in a quite street with ample of free parking sports. Marino might be the best host I've ever met! The apartment although small, was clean, WiFi worked throughout my stay without problems.

Few minor technical issues in the bathroom (e.g.: leaking shower head) but nothing to complain about really at this price point.

Stay away!!!

Possibility to leave luggage

- The room is very small, - Bad noise insulation can hear everything from outside. - Bed is not comfortable and pillow was too soft. - Need to climb uphill to get to the property from the city center. - Air condition is written under facilities but then one is asked to pay extra for it. This is not mentioned in the main description and I found it to be very misleading. - We asked for 1 hour earlier check-in than the scheduled 14:00 check in, and were refused inspite of rooms being available. This shows the attitude of the person managing the accommodation. I have a frequent traveler and this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed both in terms of quality, value for money and staff behavior. Will never stay in this property again.

Overall, I was satisfied with the price, the hotel manager's communication, and the location.

The hotel requires renovation. The furniture looked quite shabby. The premises were generally run-down and outdated. Additional price for air conditioner.

It’s a good option for a short stay, there is no kitchen but a fridge and a coffee machine are available.

Great location, free parking, the host was very nice, he greeted us and explained how to get to the city center.

The bathroom is very small and the shower is a bit uncomfortable to use. There is ko kitchen and the walls are pretty thin. It’s okay for a short stay.

Excellent location, 8-10 minutes walk to Arena. Fantastic host, provided all necessary information for getting around Pula at the check in. Room was comfortable, all needed facilities provided. Absolutely recommend!

I won’t be returning…

Location is good, 10-15 min to amphitheater and center and it is a renovated facility (but very very basic, e.g. no hairdryer). The single room I had was spacious enough.

There were ants in my room and well as in the kitchenette. They attacked my oat-grain, the only food I had in my room for my breakfast. Free proteins for breakfast?! No, thanks! One would expect even in such place there is more in the common kitchenette, e.g. no spoons, not even a kettle. But you can pay for coffee out from a machine (no tea, no hot water). The owner only accepted cash, though all card types were showcased on their door and he did not provide an invoice. For air-conditioner one needs to pay extra. Worse experience throughout my travel in Croatia.

The host is a wonderful man with infectious enthusiasm (and ninja skills when it comes to one-handed mosquito swats 🤣). The single room was spotless with a surprisingly large terrace. Comfortable bed, clean private shower and toilet. Short walk from the main attractions and a shop closer still. Recommend and would love to return!

Located not far from The Amfiteatr, a quiet area where you can rest well. Easy to reach everywhere within 8-15mins walk. Marino the owner is very nice and willing to assist in case if you need help.

lovely and clean guesthouse a bit away from the city centre

clean rooms and showers, relatively quiet away from the hassle of the city centre; a lovely balcony with a view of olive trees (rooms with balconies face the garden); a very friendly owner ready to help anytime ; there’s a fridge and a coffee machine (you need coins to get a coffee there); the guesthouse is also a 15 min walk from the bus station and the same from the city centre. a bus stop of a bus 2a which is going to the beach is 5 minutes away. overall I enjoyed my stay very much and can recommend the guesthouse anytime

the guesthouse doesn’t offer breakfast and the restaurant are a bit of a walk away (not an issue if you are driving); there’s little sound insulation in between the room and the corridor (but it was quiet most of the time so it wasn’t a huge issue, but maybe for some other people it is)
