The house was fantastic, and the beds were the comfiest I've had in private accommodation!
Everything we needed was available or close by. The city centre is literally a 5 min walk away.
It honestly felt like a homer instead of a rental, also if you like animals you can try find them all
The bathroom is on the ground floor at the back, not ideal when taking kids down in the middle of the night, the night lights helped

Location and price were great, it was nice to have a garden space for our dog. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean.
Overall it was quite dirty. The carpets had not been vacuumed in some time, my dog kept collecting nuts from the carpet which we had to keep removing from her mouth. The fridge door had sticky marks all over it and the microwave had food mess in it. The sides hadn't been cleaned in the kitchen. It was such a shame as the house was nice and the location was fantastic. The wardrobe at the top of the stairs with the doors hanging off is an eyesore and looks dangerous.

Great house, fab location, had everything we needed and close enough to walk into town. Great value for money.
Was good for our needs

Very close walk to everything we wanted to see, lovely old apartment that felt homely
We couldn’t get the the shower head to stand up by itself as it kept facing the back wall, so you had to hold it, bit difficult when you have long hair and trying to wash it (to be fair we never contacted the owner either about it to find out if the shower head was just loose or suppose to be that way, so it wasn’t a big issue)

A lovely, warm, comfortable house in a great location just a short walk from the centre of Inverness.
Nothing.

Never met the hosts. For an old house it was excellent.
The shower head, but we still used it.

The really only good thing about this property is two things. The parking was easy and convinent. Then also the location was very close to main town where all the shopping, pubs and food are.
Also the check-in and check-out process were simple.
The place was very dirty and not well maintained. The place has only what could be described as frumpy and grungy look. Additionally the furniture was very uncomfortable and the master bed as well.

The only 1 bathroom on the first floor, the bedrooms are upstairs;
Instructions were so vague . Unable to use the shower.
The host does not answer promptly

Quite central, easy walking distance to city centre
Very dated property, I can see now why it was cheaper than a lot of other options for Inverness.

Had a whole house. Enjoyed the yard. Great location

Good location, comfortable bed in the main bedroom and really appreciated the parking permit. Short walk from good cafes.
The house overall was basically clean however surfaces of the kitchen incl most kitchen items could have done with a more detailed clean. Basic things like extremely wobbly paint job and sealant in the bathroom really lets the place down.
It was appropriately priced given the quality of the place and it was warm and bed comfortable but it really could have been cleaned with a little more attention and do with a basic update.

Excellent location, lovely comfy house, cosy, parkign right outside which was great for my disabled mother in law. It had everything we needed for a family weekend away
A few more plugs and mirrors would be useful in the bedrooms for charging phones/devices and allowing to do hair/make up

Excellent location near the main street and other interests, but nice and quiet. House was equipped with all our needs, lovely garden area.

The property was close to the city centre, but still in a quiet area. We were able to park on the street. The property was quiet.
We were disappointed in the condition of the property. There was a large crack in the ceiling above one of the beds and the property felt run down. There was mould in the bathroom and the rooms had not been thoroughly cleaned.

Lovely location, within walking distance to high street. Nice quiet neighborhood. Torquil and Kim are very responsive and communicate well. The house is cozy, beds are comfortable and everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided
The shower is a bit temperamental and takes a while to figure out. The house is a little old and tired on the inside but that doesn't detract from the comfort of the house and I think it's one of the reasons the house comes with reasonably priced rates

Torquil and Kim were really good hosts. They were available but not at all intrusive. The house was great for our family. It was within easy walking distance of the city centre. Highly recommended.

Location and well appointed kitchen etc.
Heating only works for 1 hour 3 tines a day which isnt adequate in cold temperatures. Beds are uncomfortable and there are not enough blankets to keep warm at night.
Only one toilet roll provided for 3 night stay for 3 people

perfect location for closeness to the city centre, yet far enough away to afford privacy following our time in the Highlands.
Torquil and Kim keep a tidy home respectful.
We particularly liked the quirky art work

Great location, comfortable beds, very clean, food left for us which was greatfully received as we arrived late due to an accident on route.
Hard to find any fault with the place, we were all very pleased with our stay.
Parking was difficult and had to park some distance down the road but a parking permit was provided. The chairs in the kitchen were very wobbly.

comfortable and had everything we needed. the milk, buns, coffee etc left were much appreciated.
parking difficult. got away with it as had taken small car but if had taken the truck which I would normally have done parking would have been very difficult. wouldn’t stop me going again, just something to consider

Great house, great location. Amazing price!
Booking for com said there was bunk beds but it was only a single bed - luckily we had a very small child that slept in with us instead!
