Perfect place to stay in Assisi with a lovely host to round out your Italian experience!

*Note- my husband made the reservation for me, his photo, but I stayed at this booking alone and wrote the review. Assisi is where I ended my St Francis Camino journey, and I could not have had a better place to stay and celebrate. First, I feel the host can enhance your stay and Roberta is one of those hosts. She is fun, informative and very accommodating. When she found out I wanted to go to the annual flower festival in Spello she not only helped me get a cab very early Sunday but connected me with a group of ladies that were doing some local flower displays in Assisi. I was able to help them pluck petals and seeds that were used in the displays 😊. It is a memory I will never forget and would not have done if Roberta didn’t encourage me. Second, the accommodations were excellent. Air conditioning if needed, beautiful furnishings, a separate kitchen, and a sweet little balcony. The location was perfect- right at the Piazza San Rufino. This was the Italian experience I was looking for and Roberta helped provide it.

A lovely gem!

Everything! What a charming little gem we found in Assisi! I want to return just to stay there again! This place is a must. The location was perfect, with a magnificent view and everything you could want. The owner was kind and actually owns the best gelato in town: Leccapaletta near Saint Claire.

Perfect Accomodation In Assisi!!

The location was so good, and it was the perfect accommodation without any deficiencies. Heating was good, and the warm water came out with good water pressure. I was able to start morning by drinking coffee in the cozy&nice kitchen. It was also nice to have so many restaurants nearby.

Nice and good location, next to the Cathedral, nice and good pizza shop just below us which seems to be very popular with the locals, several eateries just stone throw away, its not too far from the bus stop that links the accommodation to the train station in Assisi.

An amazing apartment in the stunning historic centre of Assisi

A beautiful apartment in a central location in the gorgeous historic centre of Assisi. The apartment is clean, modernised, well-equipped and tastefully furnished. It is an ideal place for a solo traveller and definitely suitable for a longer stay of a week or more. Roberta is a wonderful hostess who will do everything to make her guests' stay in Assisi as pleasant as possible.

The Perfect Assisi Location

Roberta is a super-host, whom I cannot recommend too strongly. I came to Assisi for a week by myself to explore the many places in and near Assisi associated with St Francis and St Clare after a group Franciscan pilgrimage tour was cancelled after my tickets to Europe were booked. Roberta, as well as ensuring I had a great time in the apartment, facilitated my visits to more distant places by coordinating with a most efficient taxi driver. The location of Core Mio is great - right on the Piazza San Rufino, which is very beautiful, as well as only about 3 minutes gently downhill from the final stop of the Assisilink bus. That makes exploring anywhere accessible by bus very easy, and places within the city at least are simple to access on foot. Roberta recommended a great trattoria near the apartment, Trattoria da Erminio, where I had numerous beautiful meals. Roberta also provides some basic food supplies in the kitchen, and recommended where I could buy other food. There is also a good pizzeria on the ground floor of the building, which is another handy aspect of the location. I would very strongly recommend Core Mio to individuals, couples or groups of three, as long as you can handle two flights of stairs.

An increase in the strength of the wifi would be helpful.

Wonderful stay

The place was a cute little apartment, perfect size for a couple. Beautiful views from the windows. The location was great; a yummy panini shops downstairs and walking distance to all the town’s attractions. We caught the bus from the train station and Roberta kindly organised a taxi when we left. We had a great stay and would recommend.

A room with a bird’s eye view of sky and expansive landscape. Precious time spent in an earthy spiritual world.

I loved the huge windows in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The views over the rooftops were sensational. Morning fog blanketing the valley, spectacular sunsets turning the sky pink, orange, gold and red. It’s located in the center with ease of access to everything. This was my favorite place in a 5-week tour of Italy. Part of what added to my satisfaction was the lovely connection and conversations with my host. Roberta and her husband were generous and always available when I had a question. I hope to return for a longer stay as I felt such joy in this sweet city and cheery apartment.

Light-filled and lovely

The perfect, light-filled place for a visit to Assisi. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and memorable stay, including the view of cobbled rooftops, sweeping plains, and swooping birds. Best of all was Roberta, the delightful hostess/owner, who was always immediately available and immensely helpful with everything. The family trattoria down the street offers delicious, authentic Umbrian cuisine, and it’s a brief walk to the Piazza Commune for a cup of cappuccino and people-watching. Highly recommended.

Great host, perfect location!

Our host Roberta was a real star, super welcoming and very flexible with check in and check out. She shared her best tips on what to do and see in Assisi and gave us maps of the city. Communication was excellent. You will also notice the little things that made you feel extra welcome like basic but thoughtful cooking supplies like a bottle of olive oil and a garlic,, and cold water waiting for you in the fridge. The location is absolutely perfect, you will stay in the center of town with numbers of shops and restaurants within 150 meters from the building. The apartment is comfortable, clean and definitely enough for two people. For out interrail-budget, this is by far the best place out of the 6 we have stayed at so far!

Wi-fi was a bit unreliable in the end of the apartment opposite to the router. AC was under repair while we stayed here and it gets really hot and made it a little uncomfortable sleeping..

Right in the middle of the Historic center , quiet and adorable with lovely views. The owners also have a restaurant and it was the best dinner we had in Umbria-they squeezed us in for dinner, make a reservation when you book the room its worth it.

La posizione, la struttura antica e ben restaurata, l'arredo funzionale e di gusto, il piccolo angolo cottura essenziale e ben attrezzato, la pulizia, la disponibilità dell'host....e l'ottimo negozietto sotto casa con pizza e torta al testo!

Solo dettagli... Eravamo al primo piano e penso che l'appartamento di sopra abbia una vista migliore sulla piazza, che noi invece non riuscivamo a vedere. Abbiamo dormito benissimo ma il matersso per i miei gusti è un po' troppo morbido.

Fine ed Inizio anno ad Assisi

Ottima la posizione. La casa è perfetta per una coppia che vuole soggiornare per qualche giorno. Seppur ristrutturato in chiave moderna, l'appartamento presenta ancora alcuni meravigliosi dettagli che ricordano e manifestano l'unicità del luogo dove ci troviamo. La vista è stupenda!

ASSISI DEL..CORE MIO!

L'appartamento si trova in una posizione ottimale per poter visitare la città di Assisi. Era ben arredato con tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. Ci complimentiamo per la caldaia efficientissima che ha garantito acqua calda sempre in tempi brevissimi e riscaldamento top.

Purtroppo non vi è la possibilità di un parcheggio gratuito nei limitrofi. Sarebbe cosa buona garantire agli ospiti almeno l'accesso alla zona ZTL per il solo carico scarico dei bagagli ( il Comune dovrebbe permettere a questa tipologia di host di poter rilasciare l'autorizzazione per il carico scarico bagagli).

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w centrum Asyżu, łatwy i szybki dostęp do atrakcji Asyżu, w okolicy liczne restauracje, na dole znakomita pizzeria, obok znakomite śniadania

Lokalizacja w centrum oznacza także hałas do późnych godzin nocnych. Naprzeciw apartamentu jest tawerna ze stolikami na zewnątrz - goście siedzą tam do późna (nawet do północy) rozmawiając głośno, a potem często stoją jeszcze długo na placu pod oknami apartamentu rozmawiając głośno (jak to Włosi). Dodatkowo podczas naszego pobytu organizowany był jakiś zlot młodzieży i na placu przed kościołem San Rufino (50 m od apartamentu) ustawiono stoły i ławy, gdzie do 2-giej w nocy biesiadowało głośno kilkaset osób. Jeśli wiec chcesz pójść spać wcześniej, niż o 12 lub 2 w nocy - koniecznie weź dobre stopery do uszu, bo okna z pojedynczymi szybami nie tłumią żadnych hałasów z zewnątrz. Apartament jest chłodny w lecie, ale kiedy jest zimno na zewnątrz (jak podczas naszego pobytu na koniec kwietnia) to w środku było zimno (nie można było włączyć ogrzewania).

위치가 정말 좋습니다..아씨시역에서 라인c버스를 타고 종점에서 내려서 산 루피노성당 방향으로 한 5분정도 오시면 성당 바로앞 5거리에 있는 건물에 있습니다. 부엌과 욕실은 충분히 넓은데..침실이 2명이 사용하기 조금 좁은 편이었습니다. 부엌창문과 욕실 창문에서 바라 본 풍경은 정말 좋았습니다..

와이파이 속도가 많이 아쉬웠습니다.
