About this house rental
It is just a 140m level stroll to the well known surf beach Sandy Bay which is generally safe for swimming/surfing through all tides and also has a freshwater creek/lagoon for small children to paddle in. The well utilised walking track along the coast to Whananaki starts here for those wanting peaceful exercise.
A short drive will take you to Whale Bay and Matapouri and just a few more kilometers sees you at Tutukaka, the base for all diving and fishing tours heading out to the world famous Poor Knights Islands. You will also find a variety of cafes and eateries at Tutukaka and Ngunguru.
Special conditions:
- Smoking allowed outside only
- No camping, no tents
- BATH TOWELS ONLY INCLUDED WITH LINEN - Feb 2017 to Dec 15th 2017
- Beach Towels can be provided at extra cost of $5 per person

Very cute rustic bach that is a one minute walk to the beach. Host was very helpful with check in and communications. Definitely recommend if you are after a peaceful getaway.

The cottage had a special feeling and nostalgia. Kitchen was well equipped. Close proximity to owner in adjacent house was unexpected, and distance to beach was further than online photos had suggested, but we still had a good time.
