Lovely place very comfortable clean and nice views from the balcony. The woods nearby is a very nice walk, great location to explore generally around Northumberland. I visited Druridge Bay, Alnmouth and Simonside hills with a short drive and enjoyed relaxing in the lodge in the downtime.

Nice cottage, close to national parks and historical sites
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
It is very easy to bump your head or trip because the floor between the rooms is not even.

We had a lovely stay. The spacious living room and kitchen, along with the stunning views, were definite highlights. But it was the little touches throughout the property that we loved the most, such thoughtful details that made our stay feel extra special. We would definitely stay again!
