Disgusting, SCAMMERS

The location was the only upside to this property as it was only a 5 minute taxi drive into the city centre.

I recently stayed here with 7 friends and we have never felt so disgusted. I have still not received my £250 deposit back after leaving the house spotless on departure and I am being ignored by the ‘company’. The quality of the house was not acceptable and there were many hazards to health and safety that we noticed during our stay. Firstly, as we stepped through the door the radiator was leaking. This could’ve just been classed as general wear and tear to the property however, it had clearly been like that for a very long time.. instead of fixing the issue they had placed a small glass bowl underneath to catch the water that had overflown and drenched the carpet in brown water. There was mould on the floor from this and the carpet was that sodden that we had to change our socks every time we walked to the kitchen. It filled the whole house with a damp musty smell, this could cause health problems for people with asthma and other respiratory issues. Another safety hazard we noticed was that there was a radio supplied to us which the power adapter for had clearly not been pat tested and was damaged visibly.. it was a fire waiting to happen. Also, upon arrival, whilst looking for the TV remote (which was never supplied) we discovered the remains of legal highs under the sofa which had clearly not been cleaned properly as there was a jumble of cables behind it also along with a lot of dirt and grime. The bathrooms had a mould problem which again is a health hazard. And also, the over flow for the water system was constantly dripping out onto the back garden right above the door which left black slime all over the slabs in the back garden. This pipe was also situated too close to the upstairs window to comply with regulations. The garden grass clearly hadn’t been cut for months and it was an unusable space. There was even a droplet of fluid on one of the toilet seats when we arrived which could have been anything.
