I like how close it is to the beach, safety, close to every thing. Liked their security system, comfortable beds and couches.

I just wish they'd refill milk, coffee, sugar and cookies. Paint the floor and hv mats on. Otherwise I'd love to come back again.

Didn’t even stay. Place is horrible

It was dirty, cold, blankets were dirty. It had a mouldy smell. We ended up not staying at this place. Travelling with toddlers and we were not going to risk our kids’ health

- its location is its main USP, its right on the promenade. - it was good value for money once we got through all the admin issues of getting into the property etc. - the actual property is perfect if you're out and about on holiday there but also want some space to come back and chill in

- the key collection was manic, keys were in incorrect lock boxes, so we sat outside for quite some time doing back and forth WhatsApp's with their team until we tracked down the keys. (BTW, Message says black gate next to the black gate, all gates are grey.) - it didn't have a hairdryer (purposely didn't pack mine because they said it had one) - when we arrived the room hadn't been cleaned. It was filthy from the previous guests. I contacted the company again, granted they had sent a message to my partner that he had missed saying that they were experiencing some cleaning delays and that the room may not be ready by 3PM. Which he missed between flights and driving. But nonetheless when we got in the apartment at 15:30 it hadn't been touched and there was no cleaning staff in sight, which made it feel like it was actually just forgotten about until I had made a fuss about it with their staff to which they then sent cleaning people over. Honestly, the induction into the apartment was a 0/10 for me, which is sad because the apartment is actually lovely and such good value for money. They had definitely fixed things that I saw other people had complained about. So all in all, I would undoubtedly go back and rent the property again, I just truly hope that the progress with cleaning and lock Boxes is rectified as a matter of urgency (I see alot of reviews echoing similar feedback)

Redemption

I had complained about a few things and the manager or profile manager came in the next day with a apology wine and rectified all that I was not happy with and replaced items that were not working

The pin lock at the gate was jamming and I had to stay in the rain for a long time till law enforcement assisted me and I was wet, the hair dryer wasn't in its box , the heater wasn't working and the wifi too.

Nice place, needs better organizing, but made it work.

Good location. Amenable host. Nice space.

Heaters didn’t work. Not enough blankets. Dining table is too big for the space. No chairs for outdoors. Lack of Wifi when we arrived left us stranded. No soap in bathrooms. No rags or dish cloth for wiping the table or counter. Bedroom window doesn’t lock and leaves access to apartment.

The location of the property was excellent

The way were locking our personal things and it was safe to leave everything in there while exploring the activities

The couches were old and not comfortable to seat around. Secondly was the fact that no one was there to assist in switching on the tv since I was not familiar with Netflix . The oil heater was not working and it was cold not enough blanket nor the heater was there to warm the room.

HORRIBLE

My stay was horrible. These are some of the things that went wrong: -The facility was very dusty and not well cleaned, and when I brought this to their attention I was charged an additional R450 to have someone to come clean it. -There is no parking available. -The wifi was not working on the first few days on our stay -The electricity got cut on the last 2 nights of our stay and forced us to move elsewhere at our own additional cost. The electricity was disconnected by the municipality due outstanding amounts from the property owner. NO REFUND has been received although I had paid the extra R600 upon booking to have access to refund upon cancelation. -The lady in charge of the booking is rude and unavailable, she does not have the respect to answer the phone and hides behind her unhelpful WhatsApp messages (when she even replies). She knew about the outstanding payments to the municipality (reason the electricity was cut) and did not arrange any alternative for our stay (since we had paid for the remaining days)

Location. Self check in.

No dstv-did not know I had to check the listing for that. TV only played channel 100. Ended up fetching TV at home to watch something and to keep the kids entertained. Not all the lights in the bedrooms were working. Door handle of one bedroom door off. I however love the location... 🙂
