Great value for money, great city location and good for a short stay.

The location of the property was close to centers and restaurants as well as the promenade. Great value for money.

It was difficult to find parking on the street and not knowing the area we ended up parking in a center parking lot overnight and had to walk back to the accommodation. It wasn't far but inconvenient needing to drop the luggage and then drop the car and walk back on the first night in an unfamiliar area is not ideal.

There was a major plumbing crisis that the host only informed me of on arrival at the gate. I was not yo flush the toilet (unless absolutely necessary) nor have a shower (or only very briefly), but there was a risk of any of this causing the sewage to overflow in the gkat below. Hence I did not feel OK to use thd shower at all nor flush the loo or relieve myself properly at all. I stayed out as long as I could, but had to leave early fof my flight the next morning. I had an event to attend at 3pm at Sea Point which is why I booked this spot for 1 night. There was no time by that point to find another place! I said to the host that I would try my best to not use the toilet or the shower but that I did not think this was worth the full price at R809 per night and asked for a refund on the sane day of check in. He never answered. I find this extremely unfair and unprofessional from a host. If he had told me even 1 hour before (when he was already clearly aware of the problem because he had already consulted with a plumber! ) I would have cancelled abd found a functioning space.

the whole house is damp. It has a damp smell,seems like renovations in progress. the doors & window frames are distorted, they dont close properly. Kitchen cabinets are broken. the house sections have steps inside from room to room.. this makes moving around the house difficult and prone to get hurt. The entrance to the house is also very conjusted.Wifi doesnt work inside the rooms. No charging backup available during load shedding hours.

The location was beautiful, close to the beach which I loved. the apartment itself was amazing including the bed which was very comfortable. I would recommend that place its simple, and very nice and value for money.

I cannot complain about anything as We didn't stay long, only 1 night.

The apartment we got did not look like the one on the pictures. Infact the one we stayed in does not form part of their gallery. The place was ok but nothing like what we expected and what attracted us to the place. The apartment was extremely small.. none of the amenities was available to use, nor did we see them.

Very unpleasant experience

The apartment is quite close to the city centre, about 10 mins by car. It is also close to the Waterfront.

The apartment was very below our expectations. When looking at the pictures on booking.com it didn't seem so old and with such basic features: the room was very tiny and there was a terrible smell of muld and smoke, that seemed to be soaked to the curtains. Despite the housekeeper came several times, unfortunately it didn't go away. Then, on the second day of our stay a water pipe broke and the owner told us he had to close hot water due to a leak and that he would have had this issue fixed by the next day. However, once at home that very evening, we sadly realized that the whole water supply had been closed! And this was very unacceptable, as he could have at least checked what the change in the pipeline was about. Therefore, for an entire evening and night we haven't been able to have a shower, brush our teeth or even flush the toilet! Last but not least, in all this situation and for our entire stay we haven't seen the owner once, except on the day of our departure, even though only at random, because he happened to be close to the apartment for other reasons. I don't think that not showing up is a good way to make guests feel welcomed.
