i had a short stay and had exactly what i needed. I especially love the location

Great size for one person. Had a place to work. Has big windows that bring in a lot of light. Had everything i needed in the kitchen. Good shower. Was very comfortable and loved having access to so many restaurants and coffee shops and transport a walk away.

Not a lot of privacy when the curtains are open. But nothing to put your off, just takes some getting used to. Europeans won't struggle with this.

Central, quiet, a little tired.

Bit of a faff to collect and deposit the keys - difficult to get out of the gate without the keys. Room itself was pleasant - large, airy and quiet. Large comfortable bed, kettle, fridge, microwave. Close enough to main facilities for eating and sightseeing.

Diagram to find the room was quite confusing, and another resident had blocked the landing off meaning we had to walk the entire length of the residential block to find our pace.

Overall good value stay in a central location but not super clean place. Appropriate more for students / backpackers

The property is very close to waterfront, super easy access to all sight seeing places by uber and car. Beds are very comfortable. Space is big enough for a family of 3. Parking lot available and it is easy to use. Also easy check in.

Bathroom and kitchen was not super clean when we arrived. No regular cleaning taking place during the stay. I only cooked at home on our last night and pans/ forks/ spoons were very old. Dish cleaning sponge was also dirty. Room needs refurbishment itself, it is old. Wifi connection is not stable ee had lots of issues but host was very attentive to fix it all the time.

It's worth it

Convenient!!!! I loved that I could walk everywhere and it was safe. The place is comfortable. It felt like home, I would recommend for a short or long stay.

Great place to stay

It was spacious and we had everything in the kitchen to cook for ourselves. It was clean, secured and close to superb views, shops and restaurants.

It would have been perfect but It was a little cold(we went there during winter), as there was only a single heater for such a spacious place. Apart from that everything else was great

Had a wonderful stay

The studio was very well appointed, neat and clean with a wide, comfortable bed. We appreciated the variety of kitchen equipment and utensils, the TV channels (Netflix etc), the towels, the heating options, the parking space etc etc. Also the location was great - a short walking distance from the promenade. Have already booked to stay again!

Enjoy my stay

I had a nice stay at Ian's place. At first, I was unable to open the gate, but I phoned Ian and he assisted me through it. It’s a lovely place, close to shops and beaches. The day I arrived in Cape Town was cold, and I was expecting some tea and coffee—but there was only salt and pepper 🙈😂. There was a bit of noise from the neighborhood across the street, but since it was the weekend, it’s understandable. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back—for the tea and coffee this time 🙊.

Home away from home

Ian is very friendly and always responds immediately on WA. The studio was very clean and as in the pics. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower calls your name when u come back from activities, u feel so refreshed. It's 5min walk to the beach and eateries. A small shopping complex just around the corner. Close to V n A and the bus route just across the road.. I will most definitely recommend the studio to family and friends. Thank u Ian for being such a gr8 host..

The Flat was nicely renovated with modern windows which let in light .The Kitchen was well equipped with 2 small fridges .The small bathroom was renovated with a modern shower .The apartment was clean and neat .Free WIFI .Nice to have some lights with battery lights for blackout times
