Perfect ..

The cottage is beautiful inside and out .. fully equipped kitchen and utility area .. cozy lounge .with two very comfy sofas . good sized bedrooms comfy beds plenty of storage throughout .. bathroom ideal .. extra toilet off of utility .. lovely patio area with bbq .. then your own garden too …. Honestly you can’t ask for more .. and a stroll away are two fabulous hotels with superb food ..

was fine for what we needed it for

felt that with the owners opposite that they knew exactly when we left an came back! felt a tad imposing!

We had a nice stay didn’t spend a lot of time there though as have family locally

Liked the location and the fact Christmas decorations where up.

It was quite cold even with the heating on. We feel it would benefit from a log burner.

Lovely chocolate box cottage and village with everything near by.

Lovely village, very picturesque and quiet. Walking distance to various pubs with good food. Nice walks from cottage. Cottage was a good size and well kept with enough kitchen equipment to live there permanently. Carpets looked new and settees were comfy, decorated nicely. A little luxury - the towel rail in the bathroom heated up in the morning and evenings, so never any soggy smelly towels in the bathroom, lovely touch.

Double bed mattress, was ok for one, but for 2 didn’t give much support, therefore we played musical beds, the single bed was much more comfortable and it was very hot when we stayed. The check in time was rather late compared to other properties, 6pm, whereas as most others was 3pm. A sun lounger on the patio would be a nice addition as this is a little sun trap and would have been nice after a long tiring day sight seeing.

Lovely cottage and surrounds, owners very helpful, very much enjoyed our stay!

Owners very helpful - we didn’t realise till we had arrived that they had moved a whole bed out to set up a room nicely with a cot and a bed for our children. They also left some milk in the fridge for us. The fields surrounding were lovely and peaceful and our children adored having horses next door. Pub just down the lane is next to a stream and idyllic for relaxing with a drink.
