Beautiful venue in a beautiful location.

Great facilities and great location. Beautiful surroundings. Simple clear advice given re directions and local facilities. Jean popped in to say hello and check everything was ok which was nice.

Having a newer smart tv to watch Netflix/YouTube etc would have made things slightly better but not a real issue as we weren't there to watch TV. Having a bigger bed in the master bedroom would have suited me as I'm quite tall, but again, not a real issue for a short stay.

Cosy cottage on one level - great location for Carterton gymnastics club

Very cosy stay for two adults and a six year old ahead of a gymnastics competition at The Vault. The kitchen was great for making our own dinner and breakfast. Parking inside and proximity to Carterton and supermarkets was very convenient. Nice and quiet at night - we enjoyed hearing the cockerels and seeing the lovely sunrise. Very clean and WiFi, linen and towels appreciated.

It did the job and was nicer than all being in one hotel room. Ideally for us we would have had a double bed plus a single, but it was a good solution in the event and we had a nice stay.

White Owl Barn

The location is beautiful, the barn had everything we needed. The beds and sofa bed were lovely and comfortable so ensured a great nights sleep. The property was clean and came with a fully equipped kitchen. The supplied milk, tea/coffee and towels was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Waking up to horses grazing in the adjacent field was such a pleasure. We would have no hesitation of staying here again.

Lovely barns in ideal location for Carterton

Location was ideal for us travelling for a family wedding. We were unfortunately delayed but the hosts were very helpful in getting us settled when we arrived. Property had everything we needed and was spacious.

Cleanliness was a little lacking on arrival but they did sort out the most obvious bits and explained that it wasn't usual.

Practically perfect in every way

Everything...this is home from home. If you want peace and tranquility, this is the place to be. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the White Owl Barn and we love it. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay and It was so clean. The host came and introduced herself and was so friendly and asked if there was anything else we needed.

Carterton is a useful location to access the more expensive parts of The Cotswolds. This Air BnB is a little tired, but clean enough and entirely functional.

Great accommodation, hosts, area.

The welcome was great, The barn was clean, well appointed with everything we would need and was very comfortable. The location was close to Carterton for shopping etc. We all enjoyed the location, patio, the accommodation and our hosts Nick and Jean. I foolishly left my jacket there which Jean said she would post. We will book again the next time we are in need of excellent accommodation in their area.

A delightful stay

The front of the house is a wheat field, which is a very special experience to stay. The kitchen is not large, but it is sufficient for use. The landlord also replies in a timely manner.

We were so happy with this little barn. We were blown away. We needed to just relax, and this was the perfect spot to do it. We are back again in October to do it again. Beautiful property in a lovely area. We were travelling to visit family who live in a nearby village so the location was perfect. They kindly provided a travel cot and highchair for us to use.

Owner was very friendly. Location is ideal for visiting the cotswolds. The place was nice, beautiful countryside walks. Peace and quiet. A bit too expensive.. but it's the Cotswolds so everywhere is pricey. Free parking, spacious lodge, outdoor space, all you need is already there (kitchen utensils, cleaning products, towels...) and free parking.

Entrance to drive up to the property needs to be more visible at night.Recommed that the large stone at the entrance to the drive be painted white then it would show up in a cars headlights at night.
