Disappointing but functional and served our purpose.

Location was fine- nothing special. By a busy road.

Broken broadband so no streaming possible. Hole in the landing wall Some unclean towels. Poor quality beds. Terrible smell in the porch and bathroom. Spent a lot on air freshener! Rubbish bins already full. Heating was ineffective.

No faults really. Perfect for a one night stay. Wouldn’t count downstairs loo as a bathroom, but for 1 night, 2 showers were enough for 13 people.

Great bedrooms. Kitchen and seating OK for 8 but not for the 14 people we paid for.

Lovely bedrooms, comfy beds, outside area great for sitting all 14 of us down.

The kitchen diner is simply not big enough for 14 people. The table sits 8 comfortably, 10 at a push. We had to bring an extra table and extra chairs, and even then one person was perched on a tiny stool. The photos showed 2 ovens in the kitchen but one had disappeared, so catering for 14 people was complicated and time-consuming. I checked beforehand and was told there were 2 cafetieres. There weren't - there was 1 cafetiere and 1 small tea infuser. Only one kettle so we had to bring an extra one so we could brew up for 14. One standard size fridge freezer, so again, food for 14 spread into our coolboxes. Kitchen lighting had only 3 of 6 bulbs working, and no spares to be found, so we cooked in dim light. We could sit everyone outside, but the cushions we found in the shed were grubby and thin, and not enough of them, so it wasn't particularly comfortable.

Great stay for a group of friends and kids

Large, spacious house with everything we needed for a weekend stay with a group of friends and our kids. Hosts were very responsive and also kindly allowed us to have a later check-out.

The house is big and clean. It was comfortable. The kitchen facilities were adequate even for a group of 9. The garden was very nice too.

In one bathroom, there is no exhaust fan so make it a bit humid after bathing.

Very good

The house was very spacious, the kitchen and dining area was more than big enough for 9 of us and the facilities were perfect for what we needed. It was a lovely surprise to be greeted by plates of yummy cakes!! The communication from Pauline was very clear and she was quick to respond to questions.

The outside space could have been better maintained, the bathroom could have been cleaner. It was also very noisy at night due to the close proximity to the main road.

Great family space for special occasions where you can all stay together

The property was spacious and large enough for our family of 12-14. The rooms have been upgraded from the pictures in the second living room which was great more like a cinema room much bigger tv and bigger sofa bed to socialise away from others.The front room has larger sofas and was a great space. Kitchen was a great social Space. All bedrooms were similar style and modern. Garden nice having a corner lounge set not in pictures. Great touch having a surprise tower of cupcakes 🧁

Comfortable, lovely location, great place for a family gathering

clean and welcoming- a lovely touch to provide cup cakes and biscuits. The garden is small, but a very calm space. The house is well provisioned- everything you need for a family break.

The oven and hob was a bit difficult to get the hang of - but all fine once we had grasped it.

Pauline was so accommodating with all the requests we had. The house was very large and perfect for our group as we travelled down for a wedding. We asked for a later check out and this was no problem at all.

- clean - Pauline was responsive and accommodating for requests (eg providing travel cots / early check in) - large property with 7 bedrooms, however the kitchen / dining / living area felt a little small for the number of bedrooms. We were ok as didn’t have the max number guests the property could take, but would feel cramped if at full capacity

- a bit tired looking, carpets and bathrooms could do with an update - no working smoke alarm - in a built up housing estate

Exceptional

Lovely bright and spacious. More than one reception room so whole family had somewhere to chill. Downstairs toilet. Lovely bedding. Nice and warm. Fantastic showers upstairs. Snacks, tea and coffee left. Beautiful garden space.

No downstairs shower. No locks on any bathroom doors. Some very soft mattresses - one of downstairs singles very uncomfortable. Appreciate being able to stay until 12.30 when usual check out time is 10.30 o a sunday but having to check out too early to be able to have Sunday lunch first when you are booking for a weekend is a waste of Sunday afternoon when you have all travelled to be together for a weekend. Would be nice to have 2 full days (3pm firday to 3pm Sunday) when booking for a weekend. Downstairs bedroom has a door window with no curtain and a streetlight outside. Room in full light all night.

Excellent spacious house, in an ideal location to explore Oxford and the Cotswolds.

We were really pleased with the size for the property and it’s location. There was plenty of space for us all.

There was nothing we didn’t like, apart from needing to improvise for a whisk and slotted spoon when cooking!

Wonderful house for a group

Great space with fantastic facilities. All rooms were a high standard, kitchen fabulous to cook in with everything you needed to cater for 14 people. Garden provides a lovely outdoor space in the sunshine. House was spacious, clean and comfy.

Carpets need updating as they make property look unclean which wasn’t the case - this is the only negative I could think of.

Fantastic place for a family break - plenty of space and close to Cotswolds

welcome gifts- such as milk in fridge and bottle of bubbly was a lovely touch. Plenty of space and able to log into Netflix etc. may it easy to entertain the kids. Nice to have a BBQ for use as well.
