A beautiful apartment

This is a nice little apartment 600-700 Mts /10 min walk from Ksamil bus stop. The Poda ksamil beach is 300 mts from the bus stop, so one has to walk 1Km to the beach from this apartment. The host was very welcoming and helped us with pickup and drop at the bus station which is very kind of him. He also offered us a lovely Albanian coffee as soon as we arrived. He gave recommendations as to which beach could be good to visit. It has a tiny little kitchen if one wouls like to cook a meal. The restaurants are not far away from the apartment, most of them are near the bus stop.

Nothing to dislike Abt the apartment as such. However, the title of the apartment could be misleading if you are expecting a sea view . There is no such view but this is okay as the apartment is far from all the noise which gives us a nice space for relaxation.

Overall, thank you for the host to make it easy for us!

We liked how easy it was to communicate with the host. He was extremely helpful, very approachable and helped us in many ways! We needed to clean some of our clothes and he provided us some laundry stuff and also kept our suitcases secured after we checked out for a couple of hours. Thank you!

Just a little suggestion, it would be helpful a little shower gel/ shampoo at the toilet. Apart from there, the place is very nice, calm and charming but there isn’t actually a sea view. It’s closer to the beach (15/16mins walking distance the poda beach).

I have paid just 40 de euro/day/apartament with kitchen, terrace, parking, air conditioned, wifi. The host was very helpful with recommendations about beaches, restaurants, etc. He even served us with some of his homemade raki, a traditional alcoholic drink made from grapes.

Amazing apartment !

One of the budget options in town. In a quiet and safe area. Our apartment had a big balcony. A big double bed , completely equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Everything you need for a week in Ksamil. The owner speaks good English and serves tasty coffee ! Would stay here again without hesitation! thank you

The list was as a room with sea view and balcony, also 400m to central. So when I was looking at the map, it was looking to be a real sea view, but it wasn't, it was looking to some construction sites with an small swamp beside it, that's not sea or water view. The location is 20 minutes walk through unpaved dirty and muddy roads with rocks and construction rubbish, even not proper for cars, to anywhere with decent shops and restaurant. It should be mentioned in the listing. The facility is not as listed, there is just a kettle not coffee or tea maker. There is no ceramic mug for hot drinks, there are plastic mugs, and a few dirty glasses with water marks. The pictures of the room and apartment age not matching the reality. They are misleading. With the same price I could get a room just in the center but I chosen this based on the description and photos and I thought I am getting something much better than the ones in the center.

Perfect.

I have lived with the host for more three weeks. Vangjel (Host) is super super friendly and easy to talk with. He answered all the questions, and did us everything that I have asked him, and he did us a huge help for us to find a postal office in Sarande. For all those people who would like to stay more, better to talk to host directly.

Perfect for motorcyclists, there is secure parking!

Great location and beautiful views. This stay is very secure. I rode my motorcycle here and had gated parking. It is very spacious, a big bed room and living room, kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. I was so amazed the owner built the whole house mostly by himself with the help of his family.

This was not a major issue. I traveled to Ksamil during March (on the cusp of winter/ spring) and it was cold in the living room. No problem, I stayed tucked in the bedroom most of the time where there is a heater.

The following can be improved: - host didn't want to share the WiFi with me prior to arrival nor provide me with alternate check in instructions. Hence, I didn't know how to check in given I had no mobile data in Albania. - kitchen could have: flat plates, wooden spoon, spatula, a sharp knife, a cutting board, dishwashing liquid. - fridge very loud and didn't work I think? - AC quite weak

Our host welcomed us with a coffee and raki, and the little apartment was perfect for a short stay. The apartment is basic, but is well worth the cost.

Recommended option in beautiful Ksamil

Really kind welcome from the family, incl. coffee and raki. It's a nice studio with kitchen, comfortable beds and warm shower. Location is great, with beautiful views over Butrint national park and close to all beaches and restaurants/bars. Private parking. Shared balcony. Heating and air-conditioning.

WiFi didn't work. No shower curtain. No facilities to clean dishes.

great area for short stay near beaches with car

confortable, quiet location with nice staff. great place for short stay or not staying at the location during the day. the location is great if you have a car so you can access Butrint NP and all the beaches / towns nearby.

the wifi was on and off unfortunately… so couldn’t be utilized. there was an issue with hot water for the shower, the water was always warm tending towards cold. might not be an issue in summer but during shoulder seasons or winter it is. the location isn’t near any beach that gives to the sea. there is a sort of lake area near but not worth a swim. so having a car or bicycle is necessary
