About this house rental

Apartment completely renovated recently. 80 square meters plus a garden outside.

Located in a residential area, the apartment is on the ground floor and is fully accessible without the need for elevators. The car park is just 50 m away from the property, in a secure gate, locked overnight . This property offers the possibility of a holiday in a quiet area, a short drive from the Cinque Terre.

The full kitchen, living room, TV, internet access and a private garden are among the amenities available in this property. The garden, in particular, is ideal to have meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner) outdoors.

The bedrooms, both very spacious, are two triple rooms, with a double bed and a single bed each. Ideal for a family with children.

The living room is also equipped with a double sofa bed, extending the maximum capacity of the apartment to 8 guests.

Just 900 m from the train station (10 minutes on foot) and boarding boats to the islands and to Portofino, Portovenere and Genoa Aquarium. Structure near restaurants with typical Ligurian focaccia and fish very good and fresh. On the outskirts of La Spezia, the historic center is within walking distance. A few miles from the sea. Portovenere and Lerici can be reached using the comfortable boat service that leaves from the city center.

To reach the apartment and travel in the area, given the great proximity to the station and public transport, it is not necessary to use a private car.

Renata is a lovely host and helped us with places to eat, towns to visit and parking the car. We found the beds to be quite uncomfortable however and the kitchen amenities were lacking. Renata provided several drinks in the fridge for us and we were grateful for the washing machine and drying racks.

Great location - this property was near to the train station and shops for all that we needed. Amazing host- Renata went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable . The beds were really comfortable and the garden was lovely to relax in. We would definitely recommend this property.

This was the best & most comfortable place we had in our five rentals in Italy. The place is modern, updated & clean!! Has a beautiful backyard area to relax in. Renata was the ultimate and most gracious host. She picked us up at the airport, took us to the property provided us a tour of the house, plentiful information for tours near the area, provided us umbrellas since we were going to have a rainy day as well as suggestions for eating out, transportation, and then dropped us off at the airport when we left.

We really enjoyed staying at Rensta’s.. Her location is within a residential neighborhood that is a short walk to restaurants, a grocey store, and a specialty food store. It is close to the train station to take you to the Cinque Terre. The kitchen had all we needed to fix our breakfasts. The bathrooms were modern, and Renata was super friendly and helpful when needed. We would stay there again.

We stayed at Renata’s holiday home and the house had everything we needed! Renata thought of everything! Check in was a breeze as Renata was there upon check in to give us the keys and show us around the property. We were a party of 7 (kids ages 15, 18 & 20) along with 4 adults and there was more than enough room for all of us, along with the 2 bathrooms. The garden outside was also nice to enjoy a meal or hang out in the mornings and evenings. It was about a 12 minute walk from the train station & there was a fruit market and super market in very close walking distance. We didn’t have a car but there is a locked gate to keep a car should you have one. Renata even had wine, beer and water waiting for us in the fridge when we got in along with some croissants and other breakfast snacks for the following mornings. There is olive oil and spices available for cooking as well as coffee to make on your own. This house and Renata are more than 5 stars!

Renata is an exceptional host. As well as picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, she kindly drove us to the lovely little town of Porto Venere. There were a few goodies in the fridge for us too including a bottle of wine, homemade pesto and marmalade. The property was perfect for our party of two couples, very clean and welcoming. There is no more to say about the Cinque Terre villages, but don't forget La Spezia itself where the city centre is only a 25 minute walk from the property. There is no real need for a car as all of the Cinque Terre villages are accessible by train. On the day of a train strike, we took a bus to the nearby town of Lerici which was charming. We swam in the sea at San Terenso which must be the nearest beach to La Spezia. If you enjoy hiking there are lots of opportunities. Our favourite was the free walk from Levanto to Monterosso. We didn't take the 1km Via dell'Amore walk between Riomaggiore and Manarola - Even though the path is flat, the price is steep at EUR17!We stayed in both Pisa and Genoa as part of this holiday - both only an hour by train from La Spezia.

We loved our stay in this home. It was large and well equipped for our family. The host is wonderful and very helpful. This was a perfect spot for a home base while we explored La Spezia, Porto Venere and Cinque Terre.
