Spacious family holiday home

Spacious property and fantastic value for money. There are 3 x 2-person rooms (double, twin, bunk) and all are generous dimensions. Comfortable living room. Large dining room. Proper kitchen and the bathroom is a good size, too. Décor is fine, all clean and tidy. The property was warm in some cold weather. Beds comfortable. Driveway offers parking, which is handy in this part of the town. Communications with the owner were smooth and professional. Overall, very impressed and would recommend for a family stay willing to stay a short scenic walk / drive / bus ride / cycle away from the main tourist area for better value.

Only a few minor details. Loo seat needs tightening. Bracket for shower head isn't the best. Blind to the landing seemed to be stuck open. Otherwise excellent.

it was dirty , rusty baking tins , wall paper and paint peeling off, exsposed wires painted over dirty broken cupboards dirty skirting boards and carpets not enough cups had to go buy some , chipped plates, not enough seating in the lounge , doesnt look like behind and sides of oven have been cleaned for ages , rusty broken extraxter on oven, such a shame as could be a great place , i wont be booking this again

A family Christmas we will never forget !!! Loved it !!

I loved that it was convenient for our use ? I was worried as we needed the home for Christmas 🤶 and to my amazement there was decorations up and a tree which was perfect 👍 I had not seen my grown children and my mum who has dementia for a while so getting together for a memorable Christmas is what we had thanks to this house , it served us laughter and hugs and family time . Bravo to Karen the host !

I would have loved a toilet down stairs, lol but we absolutely loved the house and all it had to offer .

Great property, great location, comfortable and well setup family home

The location was excellent with very convenient lical dog walks. Great and easy to follow instructions to find property and gain access. Lovely and clean, beds very comfy. Great welcome pack and kitchen facilities (everything you need fir a longer stay itoo) and a lovely little garden with great views!

Unfortunately the radiator fell off the wall in the main bedroom when the curtains were drawn, due to brackets coming out of wall due to damp and rotted plaster. Luckily pipes didn't burst so no leaks - reported to owner who will get it sorted out straight away. Just a one off unfortunate incident !

A clean, convenient home away from home with a complete seaside holiday in walking distance!

The location was great. Good range of shops just round the corner, also pubs including Molloys where they had live music on, a fabulous fresh fish shop and easy walking distance to Babbacombe Model Village, the Cliff Railway and lovely Oddicombe beach which has a useful looking water sports company for kayaking etc and from there it's just a quick walk to the Cary Arms for a pint and fantastic view.

The entrance way for the property is a test of driving skills but very satisfying to conquer it!

A lovely, peaceful and stress free holiday, just what we wanted.

Excellent location, just a ten minute drive or so to everywhere we wanted to visit, very convenient.

Only a small gripe but maybe a slightly later check out time. Everything else was perfect.

Enjoyed our stay very much, would not hesitate to stay again!

The little extras were greatly appreciated...space for grand children, amenities on site!

No downstairs toilet, although parking for 2 cars the entrance very tight could do with slightly widening!

Comfortable Short Break

It is a lovely clean, roomy house, well equipped and lovely touches on arrival like a loaf of bread and a pint of milk and coffee/tea which is great if you had a long journey. Dog friendly therefore perfect for us as we had our dog with us. Beds were very comfy. The Babbacombe coastal path is more or less next door to Torquay Golf Club which is very close by, and the path takes you to Oddicombe. Beautiful views. Handy location for a lot of things, i came to visit friends, who were a 10 minute walk away. I will definitely be booking again.

Perfect for us

The house is very spacious and clean. The six of us relaxed comfortably without getting under each others feet. The location was excellent with shops, bars, restaurants and beaches within walking distance. St Ann's was the perfect place for our holiday, we didn't want to leave.

There is nothing we didn't like about our stay, the garden is a little bit on the small side and there isn't any grassed areas. We took a 1 year old so who isn't quite walking yet but managed to spend a little time out there...mainly meal times.

Short weekend away

Ideally located property for a number of attractions within walking distance or a short drive. The property itself had everything we need for a short break, good cooking facilities, plenty of space and a lovely courtyard garden to enjoy the evenings in. All round good stay and ideal for a small family break
