Great stay, would definitely stay again next time we visit! All good❤️

The location, it was a short walk from the train station, the hosts were lovely, the apartment was spacious enough for 3 of us for 2 nights, well equipped kitchen, there was tea, coffee and a pint of milk waiting for us! Beds were extremely comfortable too. Added bonus was the host’s 2 wee dogs, and friendly cats.

Excellent location in lovely part of Torquay, in very easy walking distance of the beach and train station. Wonderful hosts who make it clear they are available to deal with queries but do not intrude. Very clean, comfortable and well-maintained accommodation. Prices are very reasonable.

Reasonably priced self catering apartment, near to beach, parking and very dog friendly.

Great self catering apartment, well thought out rooms separating a living, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and most of all dog friendly without having the normal extra payments often seen on other locations. Very clean, right down to having the remote control / keys in protective bags. Lovely big garden for my dog. Off road parking, this maybe harder in the summer but for me managed to park the car right by the front door. Owners were on hand if you needed them but also left you alone to enjoy your stay. Great price for a weekend getaway, I would definitely look to book here again.

Perfect property

Apartment was attractive and well maintained. It was well set out with plenty of storage and equipment. We had a small balcony that looked out over the garden. Our apartment was next to the road but there was no noise at night. There is a large garden accessible from the front and rear and just beyond that a small park which was perfect for early morning/ late night dog walks. (There is even a dog poo bin in with the recycling bins). It is an easy 5 minute walk down to the front and 10 minutes to Chelston Manor which does great food and is dog friendly.

Couldn't fault it. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent value for money... surely nothing cheaper for so much

Excellent value for money in an ideal location: 2 minutes walk to station, 5 minutes to beach, 15 to town centre. Handy to have car parking, but the residential roads around were not restricted. Such a peaceful location even though it's in a town...we weren't disturbed by noise at all. The garden area was relaxing to sit in. Lovely that the apartments accept dogs. Friendly welcome by owners who live on site. Impressive how they have adapted this building into modern apartments and made clever use of space. We had everything we needed for our self catering stay. It was nicely decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean.

Our apartment was rather small, but it was fine for our short stay, and for the price we can't complain at all. The bed was quite soft - but that's just personal opinion.

Lovely place

Extremely clean, great location and had everything I needed. I took my pooch so having a balcony and garden was an added bonus. Will definitely be returning!

My only complaint was the WiFi. I’m not one to be sitting on my phone all day but if you wanted to watch something on the tv that was internet based, it just kept stopping and loading. For me this was a bit of an issue as I went for rest and spent quite a bit of time in the apartment. Other than that, I can’t complain about anything else.

Great value stay at Chelston Dene

The room was well equipped with everything we could need for self catering. It was clean. Good view from our bay window. The house was well situated. Dog friendly with open grassy area at rear of house, aswell as rear garden.

Room was a bit on the small side, made even smaller with unnecessary easy chairs which constantly had to be moved to get at the dining table. It would have been better to get rid of them and replace the two dining chairs with more comfortable padded option.

Great place to bring my Rottweiler with to stay at. My family enjoyed it alot.

Great as can bring dog there and it's quite spacious. Did the absolute trick as a self catering apartment and we were out all day every day and in evenings, it's relaxing. It's great for short stays and bear in mind, it's NOT a hotel. Great host. Lots of games in foyer to use. Lots of books to borrow. Adorable cat bossing its presence everywhere. If we are in area again with dog, we'll stay there. We didn't use kitchen much. If u are a chef or an avid cook, bring your frying pan with or eat out or order take away.

Welcoming hosts and a fantastic apartment.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, even including milk and teabags in our room upon arrival. The room itself was beautiful, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is tucked away in a quiet road with parking available. We really enjoyed our stay, particularly the lovely cat, Kitty. It felt like a home from home. We hope to stay again in the future, and would recommend it to others. Thank you to Anne and Steve!

Location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the seafront and Cockington Country Park. Although small, the apartment was very well equipped with everything I needed.

Great place to stay for our holidays, handy for train station, beach and bus stop for travelling about is only a 5 minute walk away. Great garden for sitting chilling out with a Cider. We had Great weather the full week and were gratefull that our room had a fan. Bed was very comfortable as well, always important, overall perfect accomadation for us.

Charming apartment near the coast

Chelston Dene Apartments exceeded our expectations. It was a charming place to stay. The room was fresh and comfortable, the gardens were beautiful and the hosts friendly. It is wonderfully located, a short walk to the esplanade that takes you along the beach and into Torquay.
