Luxury Holiday Apartments

The apartment was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a clean well equipped kitchen with a large fridge and clothes washer, good bathroom and comfortable bed. It was clean and we had been pre-warned that there was no lift to the top (second) floor, only stairs. Parking is rare in Torquay, and this property had its own designated car space with a security bollard on site, albeit a bit tight. The building security is good, with a locked general entrance as well as good locks to the apartment door - I felt safe even when there alone. Good views and good ventilation across the rooms. The location is good, close to the main street and the Tesco Express is literally barely 100m away. It is also only a short stroll to the harbour and restaurants.

I would have liked more cleaning products as we were there for 2 weeks and the shampoo/detergents/toilet paper all ran out after two days. They were willing to supply more once I asked the friendly cleaner (who was in occasionally as other apartments were relet) but still had to buy most. There is also some noise (mostly shouting voices) at night reverberating up from the main street nearby, especially at about 2-3 am when the pubs close (when the drunks get thrown out?).

It was in a good location close to the shops and not far from the sea front. It’s quite a steep hill to walk back up to too apartment but that wasn’t a problem for us. All the facilities were absolutely fine. The bed was comfy. Would highly recommend staying here

The sofa is quite hard and not the comfiest but we didn’t use it too much so it wasn’t a huge problem.

Very nice , clean and spacious! Enjoyed the coolness of the space , got really great sleep in a very hot summer night . Definitely a plus that had a parking space right at the front of the property !
