Good location with parking. Clean. New fittings in the kitchen. Modern feel to the apartment.

Very good location, less than two minutes walk downhill to the town centre and less than ten minutes walk down to the harbour with all the bars and restaurants. Despite being so close to the centre the apartments are located in a very quiet road so we didn’t hear any noise late at night. The apartment has free car parking just outside the front door. We took our dog with us as well and the charge for him was very reasonable. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The apartment had a modern and stylish yet homely feel to it.

A few reviews have commented on the hard feel of the settee, yes it was a bit hard when we first sat of it, but we soon got use to it. In fact we didn’t use it that much as we were out most of the days and evenings, feel like I’m a bit nit picking now. As we really enjoyed our stay.

The sofa wasn't very comfortable. Personal preference but the bed was too soft for us.

The apartment was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a clean well equipped kitchen with a large fridge and clothes washer, good bathroom and comfortable bed. It was clean and we had been pre-warned that there was no lift to the top (second) floor, only stairs. Parking is rare in Torquay, and this property had its own designated car space with a security bollard on site, albeit a bit tight. The building security is good, with a locked general entrance as well as good locks to the apartment door - I felt safe even when there alone. Good views and good ventilation across the rooms. The location is good, close to the main street and the Tesco Express is literally barely 100m away. It is also only a short stroll to the harbour and restaurants.

I would have liked more cleaning products as we were there for 2 weeks and the shampoo/detergents/toilet paper all ran out after two days. They were willing to supply more once I asked the friendly cleaner (who was in occasionally as other apartments were relet) but still had to buy most. There is also some noise (mostly shouting voices) at night reverberating up from the main street nearby, especially at about 2-3 am when the pubs close (when the drunks get thrown out?).
