Lovely weekend stay

We had a very warm welcome from the owner . Our apartment was sparkling clean, beautifully furnished &very well equipped The towels were soft &fluffy and the bedlinen was very good quality. The beds were very comfortable indeed It was a lovely thought leaving fresh milk,' water & orange juice in the fridge. Plenty of tea & coffee bags etc I would thoroughly recommend these apartments

Friendly welcone, nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen (milk/juice & coffees/teas ), washing utensils/liquids & 2 tvs. Air fryer is a bonus if staying a long period. Shower was great & even sofa bed (flat 7) was an expensive "click clack" bed with topper & duvet.easy assembly. The gardens are clearly Andrea's pride & joy & I can imagine perfect for cool summer nights outside in the well lit lanscaped garden.

Lack of sunshine on beach... Cant find anything wrong with this place. Andrea has thought of everything & more...even an Air Fryer!

Andrea could not have been more welcoming. The accommodation was spotless and the added touch of a welcome pack (plus milk) was gratefully received after a six hour drive. We will definitely be back and will have no hesitation in recommending Appletorre.

Lovely clean self catering accomodation.

We stayed for two nights on route to Cornwall. We stayed in Flat one which was compact accomodation for two people and a dog. Accomodation was very clean with everything you could need for a stay away from home. Very generous tea/coffee and milk, water and 2 small orange juices in fridge. Modern bathroom and lovely shower. We spent a very comfortable two nights. Check out the garden in the evening....all lit up. Weather permitting a lovely place to relax. If you are looking for a chippie take away The Torquay Fryer was excellent. 5 mins walk from accomodation (if you go the right way). Very busy and food cooked while you wait. Accomodation is a 10 to 15 minute walk down to Torquay prom. Lovely welcome from host Andrea. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Car park is compact and not an issue if everyone makes sure they park within the white lines. There is a parking space for every flat. Maybe an issue if people aren't very good at parking. 😀

Super apartment host was very friendly and caring. We were made to feel at home and of course it was pet friendly our dog was very happy. Short bus ride but a fitter person could walk to the beach or town centre. Thanks for your hospitality and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful accommodation and host

The self-catering apartment was the best I've ever stayed in. It had more supplies than anyone would expect when self-catering. I had the best sleep as bed so comfortable, and it was so quiet. The garden is beautiful. Very spacious Room. Andrea, the host, was so lovely and informative. It was like home from home. Will definitely stay again, and have recommended to all my family and friends. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

Very nice stay!

The location was really good, close to some shops and about 20 min walk to the harbour (5min by car). Parking was always available as each apartment has a spot. The apartment was spacious and it had everything we needed. It had all the basics for cooking and having some food in there, an extra blanket, a good fan, a good hairdryer, x2 towels each (small and big)... Andrea offered us some eggs when we arrived and the fridge already had some milk, juice and water for free for us to use. We went with our pup and a bowl was provided for her food/water, so all that was a nice detail from her. The apartment was spotless and it is exactly as you see it in the pics (this is important to me as in many places you see pics and the actual room has nothing to do with it, not the case here!!). Andrea and the other lady working in there were very nice and friendly, saw them a few times and they always had a smile on their faces, which is nice to see! Overall we had a great stay and would probably repeat if we go back to Torquay!

The bed was big but could be better, woke up many times during the night(s) as it wasn't super comfortable (my partner slept a bit better than me, so it may be a me thing or the side I slept on too!). It was a bit noisy from 6/7am, you could hear people talking, coughing, passing by the door, noises outside etc. We did have the windows half open so I guess of you close it it'll be better!

Everything! The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need in it. The bed was lovely and comfy and the welcome pack of orange juice, milk, water, chocolates, biscuits etc was a lovely touch. Andrea was a warm and friendly host who clearly has a passion for hospitality and making others feel welcome.

Magical

Location is perfect, just 5 mins away from the train station, 2 mins from bus stops, shops & 15 min walk into the town centre. Andrea was so kind and welcoming upon arrival. Being able to drop bags early and check in early was a great help. Andrea gave so much great information and guidance on how best to spend the time in Torquay, even which buses are best to use! The room was greatly sized, with a super comfy bed and all amendities you may need (air fryer, salt/ oil etc to help cook, hairdryer and so much more!). The TV was in the perfect spot and the garden (esp at night) was so magical. A great stay, cannot recommend enough!

What a place !

Hit that book button NOW . Andrea , Terri, and the team could not have been kinder, more welcoming or attentive from start to finish. The properties are amazing (I've had the full tour and have had the pleasure of staying in three of the flats.) The garden - oh my gosh. It's a different country here. It's obvious that painstaking years have been spent by all involved to create this beautiful haven, and a haven it is. Then... there are chickens. And eggs.

There was an evil black cat roaming the corridors. Haha. Joking. (It was outside). Love you - Axel Rose.

Extremely comfortable room with all the facilities needed, plus little extras. Well furnished, great kitchen area, good en-suite. Small table & chairs plus two comfy chairs and other furniture. Good selection of coffee, tea, a few biscuits, bottled water in fridge. Convenient parking. Pleasant garden. Very good value. Friendly host who provided a helpful map and directions as it was our first time in the area.

Location and view not as great as other, more expensive or lower rated, properties.

A lovely short break in a comfortable perfectly nice accommodation.

Clean and comfortable. Just the right size for a couple or even 3 people. We didn’t use the facilities but there were lots available. Very close to the front and within walking distance. Andrea was very helpful when we arrived and gave us some eggs from the chickens.

Our holiday flat was perfect in every way, beautifully decorated and it had everything in it that you would want. Hot drinks selection was brilliant, couldn't asked for anything more. Andrea was absolutely lovely.

Top notch accommodation

Perfectly situated in a side road off the main road, quiet area and only a very short walk to regular buses that take you into town, harbour/sea front, then on to Paignton and Brixham. Can walk into town or sea front in 15 - 20 mins. The owner Andrea was very friendly and welcoming. It’s obvious a lot of hard work, and thought has gone into fully equipping these apartments. Felt at home, very comfortable in this spacious apartment. Every where was spotlessly clean! Loved the big plush bathroom with its double shower and heated towel rail. Modern furnishings and decor throughout. Best place I’ve stayed at in Torquay, and I’ve stayed at plenty. Wifi is good. Really enjoyed my time here. The quality accommodation being one of the reasons why. Hope to come back as soon as possible!

Couldn’t ask for better

AMAZING! So calm and tucked away but close enough to everything even walking. The landlord/host was so full of good energy and the garden is gorgeous! She had some eggs from her chickens as a gift. We will definitely be returning to this flat everytime we are planning that area. Super easy walk to the ferry as well :)
