Everything. Spotlessly clean room, all amenities provided, lush little garden, nice friendly hosts. Kitchenette was a bonus as we are vegan and carry our food.

Perfect Weekend Break

Apartments were very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very accomodating and friendly. Garden is beautiful and there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy a book or a glass of wine in peace. Location also very good, slight uphill walk from the beach and marina but nothing too strenuous.

Perfect accommodation for a relaxing and comfortable stay

The studio was extremely spacious and Paul was a super host. Anything that you could possibly need was in the kitchen and the studio and the little glass bottle of milk on arrival was lovely. A fan was provided and the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden is fantastic. The linen was crisp and the pillows were superb. The studio was spotless and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice apartment with free off road parking in a convenient location with nice friendly hosts.

Paul was a very friendly and a helpful host. There was also free off road parking too. All the amenities were easy walking distance and there was a nice walk alongside the seafront to get to the centre of Torquay. Train station not far away was also a bonus. Top notch.

There wasn't anything to dislike from the moment we arrived we were met by Paul who straight away made us feel welcome,Our apartment was spotless well equipped with everything you need a comfortable bed in a nice size bedroom,the decor is really nice with a comfortable sofa in the lounge/diner.To top it all up to spend your evening in the lovely garden just relaxing,god willing we will certainly be back.Thank you Daphne and Paul for your hospitality we really enjoyed ourselves.Carol& Brian xx

Torquay trip

Paul and Daphne were very kind and helpful hosts. We used their garden to enjoy some afternoon sun. The place is a walkable distance to the beach and town centre, and wither a bus or quick drive to major Toronto places.

we had a lovely stay and enjoyed our visit, we got a good nights sleep too

board only, the self catering apartment was comfortable, had parking and was less than a 10 minute walk from a station and 15 minute walk from the sea front. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful, and were happy to offer advice on places to visit if needed. As well as being comfortable it was well equipped and had a few little extras that make a stay easier. Included were towels, soap, and shampoo, toilet rolls washing up liquid and scourer, tea towels, with a small selection of tea and coffee, and in the fridge was a small bottles of orange juice and milk to get you started.

It was a large apartment, nicely furnished and the Paul was a superb host. The kitchen was great and having a separate bedroom made all the difference. Also having an onsite laundry was a big plus.

Perfect!

The apartment was spotless, spacious, and homely, with everything I needed for my stay. I was welcomed by Paul, who was very polite, friendly, and extremely accommodating with check-in and check-out times. As a solo female traveller, I felt perfectly safe and knew if there were any problems whatsoever, I could phone Paul or Daphne or knock on the reception door. The location was so convenient as within close walking distance of Torre station, and the area was pleasantly quiet, especially at night. It was within easy walking distance of Torquay and took me about 15 minutes to reach the outskirts. I will visit again in the future and recommend the place to others as well. Thank you, Paul and Daphne, for a wonderful stay!

10/10 visit to Meadowside Apartments

We chose the superior apartment at Meadowside and was not disappointed. The setting was quiet with plenty of parking spaces. We were welcomed by Daphne who very kindly familiarised us with the apartment. Everywhere was impectably clean and beautifully presented. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cutlery, plates and cooking utensils that you would need. Plenty of storage space for clothes and empty suitcases. A plus for us was the electric heaters that could be controlled independently from the house heating system. I mustn't forget the fantastically quick wifi. We have stayed in many places and Meadowside has by far the best performing wifi! At the end of the stay we met Paul who was equally as friendly.

It had everything you could need for a short trip. Location was great for our plans, close to the beach, easy check in and check out, clean, spacious and had a lovely garden to enjoy.

A tasteful cozy studio with parking , very comfortable, very clean and very well managed

Thank you Paul and Daphne for such a lovely stay in one of your studios. I felt like at home. Everything was so easy. The place was spotlessly clean; the bed was very comfortable, the studio was looked after to the detail. The kitchen had everything I needed and the shower was great. The studio was spacious and the views were lovely, so beautiful gardens! Parking was at the door literally. I definitely recommend this place for both work and holidays. Location was also great!

Perfect for our two night stay…and would have been more than adequate for longer.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and warm (we visited in February). Couldn’t have asked for better facilities - great to have some milk, tea & coffee and orange juice provided - really appreciated after a long drive. Appreciated the other extras (kitchen roll and salt & pepper etc) in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was slightly hard but still comfortable and we slept well. The apartment is in walking distance of the town centre, harbour and beach.

It's very clean , comfortable and lots of little things that made trip easier, enough washing up liquid, towel hooks , heating , good utensils for cooking . the owners met us on arrival to give us the key and show us around the apartment the owner was very informative on places to go and to eat out if we didn't want to cook the owner gave us advice on shops and busses and local transport instead of using the car

there wasn't anything we didn't like we had a very good stay weather could have been better as rained a couple of days and couldn't do somethings we wanted to do as they were out door activities

Really enjoyed our stay & would be very happy to book it again.

We were pleased with the look of the studio apartment as soon as we walked through the door. It was modern, bright & airy with a great kitchen area, a nice bathroom, a very comfortable bed, breakfast/dining table & chairs + an armchair with a good sized television too. We thought it was very well equipped, every kitchen utensil we needed was there. It was very handy for the railway station too & not far from the beach. The owner was such a nice man exemplified in the fact that he got into his car to meet us at the station to give us our jackets when we'd left them behind!

We found the hob difficult to use, would like more guidance on how to use it.
