Clydesdale Apartments

Property was great for our mini break, all lovely and clean. Chris the owner introduced himself when we arrived and was very helpful. Towels were supplied as were some tea, coffee and some milk and toilet rolls. There is plenty of parking, which is ideal. Obviously with the whole of the Torbay area; it is hilly. The Clydesdale is mid hill area, and doable and we also found an easy walk around route. But if we were 40 years younger the direct route would have been a breeze!!!! Location is ideal for the main seafront and mainstream shops. Ferries and buses.

Very convenient as only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Very quiet, too! Very spacious rooms and kitchen clean and well equipped! Plenty of spaces to park on the property itself. Chris was very helpful and approachable! Thanks so much for a lovely stay! Will definitely recommend!

Chris was a great host, property as advertised

Great location close to the seafront and town centre. Chris is an excellent host who was on hand with help and advice when required and provided a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffe and milk in it. The accommodation benefitted from having a parking space which was brilliant as this is not the case with all Torquay accommodation and parking is at a premium in the town centre. The nearest supermarket on foot is Tesco Express at Fleet Street which is about a 10 minute walk (slightly shorter if you go via the steep steps to the right hand side of the entrance to the driveway) and there is also a Premier Convenience Store on Abbey Road which is a little bit closer for the bare essentials. The apartment is very spacious but might benefit from having a coffee table in front of the sofa and perhaps a fan in the summer as it does not have air conditioning and the bedroom did get quite warm in the night even with all of the windows wide open (it was a exceptionally hot weather during our stay). We also found the electric hob really difficult to work and had to phone Chris to show us how to operate it.
