I stayed at Motel 6 recently and overall it was a decent experience. The room was very basic, but it was clean and I really didn’t have any major complaints. The water didn’t get extremely hot, but it was warm enough that it wasn’t really an issue.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms, so that may be important depending on your needs. The beds were surprisingly comfortable — soft mattress and pillows, which made it easy to rest after a long day.
The staff was okay. They weren’t overly friendly or outstanding in customer service, but they also weren’t rude or unhelpful — just kind of neutral.
This is a very affordable place and a good option if you’re traveling and just need a quick, clean spot to sleep. There aren’t extra amenities that would make it feel like a vacation destination, but for a simple overnight stay, it gets the job done.
It is also a smoke-free property, although some guests didn’t fully respect that rule.
