Very good location for people who love snorkel. You can jump in from Tatoh beach to Freedom beach and enjoy coral field and calm water. Water around the resort has less wind, very calm as swimming pool. Staffs are good training and breakfast is good. Facilities have everything as we need. It’s very close to John suwan view point ( you have to climb to the top and enjoy the view. Recommend it.

Where to begin... We had the most amazing stay at Koh Tao Freedom Beach Hotel. The complimentary pick up and drop off from the Pier made life so easy. The staff, from the drivers, reception, housekeeping team, to restaurant staff were outstanding. We encountered no issues with the front office team like others have. The room, oh the room and the views, it was like entering a tropical paradise. Spotlessly clean, spacious, decent aircon, daily water bottle supplies and views to die for of the sunset. The Superior Hill Bungalows are perfect! The resort itself gives you access to Freedom Beach and Taatoh Beach free of charge. Both have a restaurant owned and run by the resort serving delicious food. The snorkeling and swimming with turtles daily was an absolute bucket list tick for us. The hike to John Suwan Viewpoint is also free of charge to guests and a must to watch the sunrise. Our only suggestion would be for the resort to invest in some 150cc motorbikes that take two people. 125cc are not powerful enough for the extremely steep roads to the viewpoints. The staff also don't know how to explain this to guests so we ended up quite confused and ended up walking down the road to another Bike shop who were able to explain the need for a more powerful motorbike. Breakfasts are also very good, plenty of options and efficient staff. This is our second trip to Thailand and being in the hospitality industry ourselves, we were extremely impressed with the service, beauty and cleanliness. We are very much looking forward to bringing our parents and children along in 2028. Thank you for making my husband's 40th birthday celebration holiday such a success!
