nice host. well located, 5 minutes walk from the shop/bakery. Not so far from many bicycle roads.

comfortable flat. Parking outside in front of the door. I could store the bicycles in a secure place. good wifi connection. Could ride till Brugge with children.

A gem in a lovely village

We loved our time at The Loft. It was far more lovely than the pictures indicated. It was extremely spacious and very comfortable. With lovely Garden Furniture on your own private balcony terrace. We even slept out there for a few hours on a very hot evening. There is a very spacious downstairs lobby that we were able to stand our bikes in and store some other luggage in. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The fridge is a good size. We only had breakfast here as eating out in Belgium is reasonably priced. Our car was behind electric gates, so no worries there. The hosts Linda and Stan were very friendly and gave lots of information on places to eat, car parking, bus timetables, and maps of the immediate area. Bruges is only a 10 minute drive away with excellent parking at the station. Also, De Haan a beautiful seaside town, is only 20 min drive away. Can't wait to go again.

Great neighborhood and convenient access to Brugge and the region. Comfortable and clean apartment with off road parking. Great local bakery and bar available.

Very good

clean, very quiet, safe suburban area. bus stop to the city of Bruges at 200m, 2.50 euros, supermarket at 500 m, nice restaurant down the street. the host received us, explained everything and was very hospitable.

We had a nice stay and enjoyed it.

We stayed for 1 week in Varsenare. Linda and Stan are very nice, uncomplicated and helpful hosts. The property is superbly located on a quiet street. From there to the Smedenpoort in Bruges it is only 5 km. There is a free car park (Magdalenastraat) 800 meters from the Smedenpoort. An alternative is the multi-storey car park at Bruges Station (6 Euros for the whole day). There are bakeries and supermarkets in the vicinity of the house. In the Oud Gemeentehuis (10 min walk) you can eat well or end the day with a Belgian beer. A trip to the beautiful beach in De Haan is highly recommended and also the villages of Damme and Lissewege are worthwhile (all about 30 minutes away).

Since we were there for 1 week, first with 3 people and the second half with 4 people, we would have appreciated a dishwasher and an oven. But no problem for fewer people or short stays.

We rented car in Brussels Airport, so we enjoyed to stay in the silent village Jabbeke with nearest fuel station, supermarket, bakery, and these awesome apartments. The very kind owner greeted us warmly, in spite we arrived lately because of flight replacement. From this great location we visited Bruges (15 min), Ostende at the sea, Ypres, Ghent, Turnai (Doornik), Kortrijk. Host provided very comfortable parking right at the door of our apartment. Gas heating is more than enough to get warm in some cold nights, and blankets are fantastic. Coffee machine, and tea bugs. Perfect kitchen. Everything is very good.

Hosts kindness!, location, facilities,... Everything. I was an excellent trip! Receptiom by host was well organised and we received a clever and clear set of instructions on how to move, where to go, shopping opportunities and other information that proved to be quite useful. I remark the kindness of ownrers. The location was excellent in terms of reaching Brugge in 10 minutes, security and total easyness to park. The area is beautiful, also the house. Excellent bakery close to the house. In summary, we are quite satisfied and thankful with this rental and the hosts.

Nothing significant to say... May be it would be handy to have some snack, or cookies, or a fruit in case one arrives after a long trip.

The apartment is very well equiped and furnished lovingly. Great, quiet location close to bus stops, grocery store, and great butcher shop (sorry, American terminology). This was our second stay at the loft and if we ever go back to the area, this is where we will stay.

Excellent and warmly recommended

Excellent place to stay - quiet environment, large room, warm, and with a south-facing window, so sunny most of the day. Small private terrace. Bathroom cosy and very nice. Kitchenette was great. Off-street parking. Exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts, offereing to help on more than one occasion (including to pick me up in Bruges when I got locked out of my car). Area is a quiet street in a small town. Excellent bakery, butcher/deli and small supermarket within walking distance. Nice walking and cycling opportunities nearby (including canal Bruges-Ostend), and Bruges is very near. Would return there.

I felt at home and would have loved to stay much longer.

the flexibility of the hosts was enormous. I arrived early and left later than usual, which was no problem to them. The heathing was on when we arrived, there was some coffee and tea available, ...etc. Everything was perfect. I just loved the attention for the decoration, and the choice of furniture. (no old-granny stuff ;-)

I only disliked the fact that I could not stay any longer, due to my own working schedule.

Apartament espaiós, tranquil i ben equipat. La propietària és molt amable i va tenir un detall molt bonic amb nosaltres portant-nos una mica de menjar, perquè quan vam arribar er era tard, un festiu, i no hi havia res obert on poder comprar.

La ubicació no és cèntrica, per arribar a Bruges cal agafar autobús (parada a 5 minuts a peu i trajecte de 15 minuts)

Brügge und Flandern ohne Auto

Perfekt für Paare, die sich gerne Brügge, Gent und Flandern anschauen möchten, auch ganz ohne Auto, denn alle zehn Minuten fährt ein Bus zum Bahnhof von Brügge. Die Vermieter Stan und Linda sind sehr nett und es ist ausreichend ruhig. Die Ausstattung mit Geschirr etc. ist sehr gut. Nicht der billige Kram, mit dem Ferienwohnungen manchmal ausgestattet sind.

Die Beleuchtung könnte etwas besser sein und das Bad etwas größer.

Empfehlenswerte gemütliche und ruhige Unterkunft

Sehr schönes geräumiges und ruhiges Loft, das in der oberen Etage des Nebenhauses liegt. Durch die Dachschrägen wirkt es sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte nichts. Schöne Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln. Die Räder konnten wir sicher einstellen und laden. Die Wohnung liegt ca. 6 km vom Zentrum Brügges entfernt, das gut mit den Rädern aber auch mit dem Bus zu erreichen ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Parkplatz für das Auto ist auf dem Grundstück vorhanden.

adorable appartement au RDC.

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement du rez-de-chaussée (on se gare devant). C'est TRES grand et très bien agencé avec deux chambres confortables et séparées par un salon cuisine et la salle de bain. L'appartement est de haut standing, très joli et très bien situé, près des commerces et du bus pour aller à Bruges centre. Le wifi est très rapide. Le logement est dans une zone résidentielle très charmante. Les hôtes sont adorables et pleins de bons conseils. Super séjour !

Tout était parfait. Pour ceux que cela pourrait géner, à noter une literie très souple.

En Brujas pero muy eleGANTE

Lugar tranquilo y con buena accesibilidad para recorrer Brujas, Gante y toda la zona de la costa. Muy cómodo y bien ambientado con parking propio y una privacidad absoluta. Con Linda y su esposo en la casa de al lado (unidas por el patio) Todo un acierto a pesar de que el uso ha sido mayoritariamente nocturno.

Por poner un pero (a nivel muy personal). Yo que tengo problemas de movilidad he echado de menos una barandilla o similar para acceder por las escaleras al loft.

Det var en meget venlig og imødekommende modtagelse. Der var det man havde brug for i lejligheden.

Lejligheden var lidt slidt og badeværelset var ret lille, så der var besværligt at gå i bad, særligt når man er over 1,90 meter.

Brügge ist so charmant, die Umgebung auch. Empfehlenswert!

gute Ausgangslage für Brügge und Umgebung. Haben alles mit dem Fahrrad unternommen. Das Radwegenetz ist super ausgebaut. So sicher möchte ich in Deutschland auch gerne mit dem Rad unterwegs sein. Bushaltestelle ist nicht weit entfernt. Ticketautomaten sind leider nicht an jeder Haltestelle. Es ist evtl. günstiger ein Tagesticket oder 10er Karten zu kaufen. In Bus und Tram zahlt man mit Karte. Super ist, man kann die Tickets überall in Flandern nutzen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort, alles da. In 20 Min. ist man mit dem Rad in der Innenstadt.

Es gibt nichts Negatives zu berichten.
