The location is excellent, quiet but close to everything. Barbara is communicative, helpful and friendly. The house is impeccably decorated with all the comforts. We’re only sorry we didn’t stay in Bruges longer, in part because the accommodation was perfect for us.

I have been going to Bruges since 1990 and, for the first time, I stayed in a house. And what a house! A GREAT location, everything thought of and provided. Really, really cosy and comfortable.Despite being so close to the centre, it is extremely quiet. There were three of us and it always felt that there was sufficient space.I have rarely been to a better property.(N.B. You have to park elsewhere, but the Station car park is cheap and accessible in 10 minutes on foot, and you can take the bus for free.)

Check in was easy and Barbara was flexible as our trip had to change. We used the house as a base to explore Bruges and easy to walk everywhere including the railway station. Loads of places to eat locally. Our only issue was the building work next door as they started early but that’s not the hosts fault and it won’t be for long. House was clean and tidy, beds comfortable. Would stay here again. Great communication with host

This townhouse was extraordinary in every way: it was perfectly located for walking throughout Brugge; it was gorgeously furnished; our elegant host, Barbara, met us at the front door an gave us a tour of the property, which includes a delightful little private patio off the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks; beautiful tub/shower upstairs an downstairs loo - everything a pair of travelling old friends might require!Thank you, Barbara,for making our trip to Brugge particularly lovely!!Denise & Shelley

We spent a few days in the house, which is absolutely perfect for a stay in Bruges. The interior style is very tasteful, perfectly suited to the very old house, but nevertheless modern. It is fully equipped and is situated very centrally, so you can easily explore Bruges on foot from there. There are car parks in the immediate vicinity (we had pre-booked the t'Zand car park. Its level C2 entrance/exit is 3 minutes from the house).The landlords are extremely nice and courteous, and dealing with them is very straightforward. An absolute recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated house. The hosts could not have been more helpful. It is so well situated, close to everything. The outside space really makes the stay complete. Just a few tiny extras would be useful, like a washing up brush, a rubbish bin and a half decent coffee machine, but these are tiny details in an otherwise great stay

Lovely little house in an exceptional location. Only ten minute walk from the train station and minutes walk from the centre of Bruges.Though the property is on a certain generation so stairs are very steep, the roof is low in the top floor bedroom and property is quite cold. We visited in the middle of winter and it was a very cold couple of days and we struggled to heat the property up. This was the only reasn for the slight mark down.

Our family of four (w/ older teens) stayed in this beautiful home just before Christmas. The location is perfect, just close enough to the train station to roll your luggage and about 10 minutes or less walk to most everywhere else. The rooms are beautiful and decorated in a contemporary cottage style. The bathroom is extremely elegant in classic marble, and there is also a powder room in the entry. We enjoyed the gas fire and had no trouble with the radiators. It was no problem for us, but do know that both flights of stairs are very steep and require caution. Thank you for sharing this treasure with Bruges tourists!

Our stay was amazing! The location was amazing, the house was so cute! All the beautiful details were so lovely and well thought out. The stairs were definitely tricky with the bags but luckily I had read in another review to expect them. Loved the use of the fireplace! Mare it so cozy after a cold day of wandering the city. Plus the family who own this place were so helpful, promote and so kind. I highly recommend this place.

This charming cottage was right out of the Christmas movie “The Holiday.” Each little touch was more magical than the next. I loved the traditional decor and the typical Bruges loft with narrow staircases. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was immaculate! The location could not have been better… Five minute walk to all of the action, but far enough away for quiet evenings and mornings. I would highly recommend staying here while touring the beautiful and medieval city of Bruges.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Comfortable furnishings, everything you need is there. Ideal starting point for exploring the whole city by foot. The welcome from Barbara was very warm and we felt welcome. We recommend this house and hope to come back one time.

We had a great stay, Barbara meet us on arrival and gave us a tour of the place. We had a car and were able to drop all our luggage then park it at the train station, a ten minute walk away, it was very convenient. Only down side was the mosquitoes, due to the weather, it was very hot so we had to have the windows open and we’re bitten alive throughout the first night. We ended up at the pharmacy the next day and she informed us that in the inner city mosquitoes are very bad and we had to buy repent for the second night. We shut all the windows and sprayed ourselves but there were still a few mosquitoes, luckily the temperature had dropped, so the two fans provided did help to keep us cool. Overall though the place was great, it was beautifully decorated and had great charm.

We would definitely stay here again. We stayed for 9 days and we needed more time. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming especially when we accidently locked ourselves out. The location is wonderful. You can easily walk to any place in Bruges. The property is located close enough to "the action", yet the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The weather ranged from cool to warm and even a bit hot, but the house stayed comfortable.

Saturday morning there was a huge and wonderful open air market just a few blocks away. Our host met us at the property and exlpained everything we needed to know for our three night stay in Bruges.

We were lucky to spend a few days in this lovely house right in the heart of Bruges. Everything was within walking distance, yet the accommodation itself was quiet. The town is gorgeous of course, and this house fits right in. We had plenty of space, lovingly decorated, very clean, simply dreamy. We met our host Barbara for check-in and she was incredibly friendly, too. We felt very welcomed and at home. We would readily stay here again.

This is a really excellent property with a fantastic, welcoming host. The location is great, an easy walk to all the main central attractions of Bruges, a very manageable walk to the train station, but away from the mad crowds. The property itself was immaculate, perfect as either a large property for a couple or a small group. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. It was also lovely to have a Christmas tree in the living room, it felt so homely, much better than a hotel! Only thing to be aware of is the steepness of the stairs if you have mobility issues - we were fine but could imagine them being a little awkward for someone older or unsteady.

Barbara had excellent communication and was at the location early ready for our arrival. Beautiful fire in the living room made it so cozy when coming back from the Christmas markets. It is early winter so the floors were cold ( to be expected) so if visiting in the winter pack slippers. Very comfy beds, excellent location, will stay again if we return to Bruges someday!
