About this apartment rental

Our cozy loft is located in the old city centre of Bruges in a charming 19th century home. It sleeps 4 people comfortably. It is a short walk to all the medieval sights; popular shops and restaurants. To access the loft,one needs to ascend two staircases, the top stairway (typical Brugian) leading to the attic loft is rather steep. (See photos) Not recommended for people with physical disabilities.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Annette. Our apartment, aptly named the loft, was tastefully decorated giving it a warm and comfortable space to retire to after a busy days discovering the delights of Bruges. Annette was the perfect host, what with supplying us with a couple of beers and milk in the fridge on arrival to dropping us off at the station due to a strike by bus drivers! The house was set in the quiet suburbs of the city, just a 15 minute walk from the sites. There were local restaurants and grocery shops nearby. We would definetly recommend this accomadation to any visitors who are planning on visiting Bruges. Thank you Annette for being the perfect host x

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here on a quiet street in the medieval centre of Bruges. There are windows on three sides of The Loft – so airy! with a lovely view. Large comfy bed, a nice shower and bathtub! Best host ever – Annette is available and extremely helpful but not intrusive in any way. The set up is perfect for privacy.

3 ladies travelling to Brugge. Attention from the owner was great. Very welcoming beforehand with information on the property and places of interest and area and on arrival in person. Location excellent, walking distance of all attractions but in a very peaceful and quiet setting. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this property and owner.

Annette’s loft was lovely. Clean, comfortable, and had everything you need. Quiet. Three of us “old “ women even managed the very steep stairs. (The solution was to leave our luggage at the bottom of the stairs and climb up with our clothes the next morning). Annette was very kind and provided us with many recommendations for local restaurants, sights, etc. Highly recommend. Just watch your head on the beams!

We cannot say enough about this great loft. It was so cozy and adorable! Annette was wonderful and took great care of us. The bathtub was a bonus! The location is so close to the center of everything. You will love it! Now, it does has steep stairs as listed in the description, but we were able to manage and would definitely stay there again! Thank you Annette for sharing this lovely place with us!

We had a wonderful stay in Bruges and enjoyed Annette’s lovely loft. Annette is a wonderful host and did everything to make our stay comfortable. She provided excellent recommendations on things to do and places to eat (Tom’s Diner is a must!) The loft was well equipped and the description of the steep stairs was very accurate so good to reach out to Annette in advance with any questions!

This is a real gem. It is in a great location off the beaten path but an easy walk to the… well the beaten path. Annette was amazing and had really good suggestions of places to go and things to see. The loft is a bit challenging to get to with large luggage but well worth it. The rooms are on the top floor of the three story home. Very private and plenty of space for what you need in a room. Annette provided all of the essentials such as towels, linens, coffee, tea and even a welcoming beer for each of us. Wonderful place all around.

Staying at Annette's comfy loft was an absolute delight! The place is very charming and spotless. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the historic center and all commodities.Annette was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed, and even welcomed us with treats on our arrival, which was a hearfelt attention. She gave us great recommendations for visits and activities in the area.The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals or making coffee/tea, and the bathroom was equiped with high quality towels and toiletries. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a high standard home with a wonderful host. Thank you very much Annette for your hospitality. We are so grateful for the ride to the train station as Uber did not reply to our request.Thank you Annette for making our family's visit to Bruge so special !

We couldn't have been happier with where we stayed! Such a beautiful apartment - furnished stylishly, immaculately clean and stocked with everything you could need. The area is great too - quiet, safe, residential streets but only a short walk from the centre. Anne is a brilliant host - so warm and welcoming and she really went above and beyond to take care of us. Couldn't recommend more!

Unbelievably cute and perfect for our needs. The loft was a very close walk to all the sites and activities of downtown, and very close to the free bus stop, but located on a very quiet side street. Annette is an incredible host; she was extremely friendly, and helpful with local advice and excellent suggestions for places to eat and visit. She made sure there was nothing that we needed. Annette is the perfect host and someone you’ll probably want to become friends with- we certainly did! The loft is not only a place to stay but an experience. The steep stairway and exposed beams only added to the setting and feel of our stay. Yes, as Annette does indicate, if you have mobility issues, these features might not be for you, but we loved them. We would return in a heartbeat and we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else now. Loved it. Thank you Annette!

We were really happy to stay in this loft while we were in Bruges. We loved the neighbourhood (the dinner we had at 't Oud Handbogenhof was amazing), the loft is very cute, and Anne was a wonderful host.

I spent only a few days there (I regret it wasn’t more), but enjoyed the warm hospitality, the central location and of course the loft. It is breathing love and creativity, past and present. Full recommendation and warm greetings to the fantastic landlady!

Everything awas perfect: Communication with the Landlady, appartment, location. I found the appartment even better than what I saw on the pictures. Very comfy and close to the city center. Fully equipped kitchen including coffee, sugar, mild, salt pepper, etc. Very comfortable bed, etc. Stairs up are steep, now problem though since we knew up-front from the (very exact) description. Parking around is somewhat difficult (all metered, 2h maximum or parking garage close-by that was occupied when we arrived). Good alternative: Free parking at P&R next to main Police station, 1,5km away. Best drop your bags first at the appartment. Would surely book again for my next stay in Bruges

Apartment is in walking distance to all locations and it was perfect for us (Myself, my husband and our teenager son). Annette is very friendly and a great host. It was very nice to find the tangerines and the sweets that she left for us. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Fanny
