Bruges stay

Fantastic location. Loads of glassware, crockery.

There was a "smell" which wouldn't disappear and was worse after a shower. Could do with more comfortable seating, chairs rather than stools. A little welcome pack would have been appreciated. And the transferring of security deposit was a hassle. We were leaving early in the morning and coming from the UK so didn't want to change funds.

Superb location, well equipped, keyless entry (everyone in our group could come and go as they pleased without having to share keys) This was our last booking (of 7 spread through France and Italy over 3 weeks) and was easily the best of all. We booked at 3pm on the afternoon of arrival and Sonja moved her appointments around to accommodate us.

Beautiful Home

Our family stayed with Sonja for three nights. 6 adults and two children. The beds were very comfortable. The home was beautifully renovated and having two toilets was a luxury compared to other rentals. The location cannot be beat. Would definitely recommend to a larger group visiting Bruges. There’s also a fabulous bar right across the street that we frequented for evening snacks and drinks.

There were no toiletries provided (shampoo, etc). Hand soap wasn’t in every toilet and there was very little toilet paper provided. We had to buy laundry detergent in order to use the washer dryer and coffee was not provided - even for the first morning of our stay. All things to consider when preparing for your stay. Fortunately the grocery store was very close to the house.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und mitten in der Altstadt. Die Küche, eine Toilette und die Duschen waren saniert. Die Wohnung war funktional. Nachdem ich Fotos von der Bettwäsche geschickt habe, kam jemand und wechselte die Bettwäsche.

Die Wohnung war nur oberflächlich sauber. Zum Beispiel waren die Lamellen vor den Fenstern mit dickem Staub überzogen. Die Toilettenspülung war wegen eines Defekts unhygienisch. Das Bettzeug war fadenscheinig und teilweise zerschlissen. Der Kamin funktionierte nicht.
