About this house rental

Drive down a secluded avenue to a beautifully restored three bedroom outbuilding which is part of a courtyard attached to Ovidstown House. Set in a rural location on a farm yet is only five minutes from straffan village and the K club hotel and golf club which was the venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup. Located 30 mins from Dublin airport and 45 mins from Dublin city centre. The towns of Maynooth,Celbrige and Clane are a short distance drive.

The host, Brian, was an amazing communicator before we even arrived. We had a hiccup with the washing machine (more operator error), and a light bulb went out in the master bathroom. He was available and quick to take care of both situations. The home is spacious and has everything you need, if it doesn't, I have no doubt Brain would try and supply if asked. His home is really easy to find with Google maps. Brian lives right there on property.The location is country, but only 30–40-minute drive to Dublin. A grocery store (Lidl or Aldi) is just minutes away; as well as a local restaurant. If you want the privacy and quiet, while also being close to Dublin this is your place. You will need a rental car if you stay at this location. Remember they drive on the left, with lots of roundabouts and winding narrow roads. I would absolutely stay here again not only for the property, but also because of our helpful and kind host Brian.
