This property does not meet the expectation of what it is advertise as. The bathroom and room smelled like sewage on arrival, and after reaching out to the host to correct this - move me, change or cancel the accommodation (provide any suggestion), I was told "sorry, it's too late, there is nothing we can do.". If I did not have a plane to catch within the next few hours, I would have left. It was a very expensive lesson.

It was an okay stay considering the price but it can be better as the location is not safe.

I liked the easy check in the kitchen was accessible and the room was clean and comfy.

The bathroom lock was broken it was an anxiety issue to me. And the door locks need to be a bit more efficient you’d make a lot of noise and all to fit the key inside and all

It was a lovely stay. I enjoyed it!

It was clean, the shower had everything I needed, and the shower gel and shampoo smell divine! It is a very cute cottage. The security system made me feel safe. The kitchen had labels on all the drawers so i can find things easily. Bonus points for having an adapter and herbal tea!

I wish the room was provided 2 towels. As a woman with long hair i really needed it. But I noticed towels in the livingroom drawer later in the morning. I wish the Homestay booking description would mention that it is not a hotel, but a house where every guest has a room. The rooms have numbers and keys though. It is comfortable overall.

I probably won’t stay here again.

The room was very small but nice, no tv, shared bathroom. There is no lounge but there is a nicely equipped and clean kitchen. Place was quiet and very clean. Easy walking distance to a small shopping area.

I thought it was convenient to the airport; it is only if you are driving. The bus is about a half mile away, not easy if raining and carting luggage. The taxi is way overpriced, 23 euros for a three mile trip. I was also uneasy staying in a room in a house where there is no manager on the premises. There are three other rooms and although they do vet the guests prior to the visit, it still made me uncomfortable I thought it was a little pricey for what it was.

It was clean. It was okay for one night.

I did not realize that the washing machine use was 10euros and the airport shuttle cost more than an uber or taxi. It did not mention these fees. Also, we had to clean and make the bed. Do they not wash sheets between uses?

Did not enjoy our stay

It was closer to the airport

Advertised washer but there was no dryer and we couldn’t use the backyard for drying clothes outside. The water pressure in the shower was very low. It was hard to wash my hair. No outlet to use the blow dryer in the bathroom. Had to use the blow dryer in the room. The room was advertised as a king the bed was a queen. No sound proofing - our room had glass doors to the kitchen so we could hear everything that was being said in the kitchen. This is a converted house - converted into 4 rooms. No employee is at the property. If you arrive early you have to wait outside in the driveway until 3:00pm. If you want to check in early (to get out of the rain) it’s an extra €25. Over all I wouldn’t stay here

Upmarket youth hostel and very poor communication

The bed was very comfortable - we had the converted lounge room so it was big - but we only had a few hours sleep (due to people coming and going).

Communication (AI) checkin was very difficult. Hard to find. Close to airport as it is a km from the back of the runway - actually a very long way to drive - hard to find and difficult if getting an early morning taxi. Better off going with a hotel that has free 24 hr transit. It’s a small cottage back of beyond. Taxi driver waited as he thought it might be a scam. You have to give WAY too many details on a very old fashioned form. I did this days ahead but the AI kept asking for it otherwise it wouldn’t let us in. We arrived early as we got conflicting info about checkin time. Our fault for not reading the fine print. There are no cafes or a seat to sit and wait. The local supermarket is across a very dangerous intersection (we braved it as we were running out of battery). We couldn’t power up anywhere at the supermarket. The house is well equipped EXCEPT there is no clothes dryer. A sign warns you not to enter the backyard where a string line is. Neighbour was very unfriendly (probably fed up with comings and goings). There is a communal bath but tiny amount of hot water (we apologised to all those that followed us). People coming and going all night was difficult to sleep.

Decent option for staying close to the airport if you don’t mind some facilities being shared with other guests

Room its self was very clean, large bed and included a couch in the room, which was a nice feature.

The room I stayed at was directly next to the kitchen and so noise and light later at night were an issue with other guests using the common spaces. Host also required a “online check-in” through a separate form that required re-entering a lot of information that should already have been given to them through booking.com

I got in very late to the Dublin airport and was happy to have this spot to sleep nearby. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nicely laidout. The place was clean and very quiet. I highly recommend for anyone needing a spot close to the airport.

A little overpriced for a one night stay.

Accessibility. The en-suite bathroom (Well stocked with products). Size of kitchen & lots of natural light.

Only one towel for showering - women usually use one for body & one for hair, I had to use the hand-towel by the sink for that. Lack of main lounge made me stay in the room all night, rather than sit comfortably in a dedicated space.

Close to airport, but still needed transportation.

Where to start? Required to complete online questionnaire and upload photos and IDs, that's OK. Arrived for 3:00 checkin, and received email saying reservation for 1 vice 2, and needed to submit additional 30 euro payment (don't know if true, but annoying). If you don't have access to smart phone, don't go here, luckily, we had. After an hour of jumping through hoops, finally got in the door, to find a shared space, and no clue to who the other occupants might be. .. never again

Has potential to be a lovely place, well decorated and fairly clean.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience for future guests. The place itself has a lot of potential — it’s in a good location and has character. However, the overall experience was sadly overshadowed by poor hospitality and what felt like a lack of care from the host. Before arrival, I received an abrupt message requesting not only my passport but also a photo of me holding it.The tone suggested that if I didn’t complete the pre-check-in info, it would be assumed I wasn’t coming, despite full payment already made. Things didn’t improve upon arrival. I had to ask several times for the check in instructions and contact booking. I was asked to pay an extra €52 for a second guest even though I thought I had booked and paid for the full room. I paid this charge, but only one towel was provided. When I messaged asking for another towel so we could both shower, I didn’t get a timely reply. In the end, one of us couldn’t shower that evening. The space itself was also freezing cold, and despite following up about the lack of towels and discomfort, I received no response or an offer to refund the extra charge for the second guest. This could have been a lovely stay, but unfortunately it felt more like a transaction than a welcome. The focus seemed more on extracting extra fees than providing a warm and thoughtful experience. I hope the host takes this feedback seriously — because with a bit of effort and genuine hospitality, this place really could be special.

Perfect for an early flight, but don't come here if you are a difficult sleeper

The hostess Ruta was fast in responding and friendly, organising a taxi ride for my early trip to the airport which was great. Thank you! Given it's location close to the airport it's a good alternative option for a night stay and early flight.

1. My first impression of the place when arriving (location and surrounding) was not positive, similar to the taxi driver who dropped me off asking me multiple times if I'd be alright as it didn't seem a very 'welcoming' neighbourhood. Indeed, it is not the most trustworthy place to stay a night. 2. When entering the place, I felt much better. Everything you need is there for a night stay! Clean, tidy and relatively modern! A few things that I didn't like: the clock in the bed room was ticking away all night, which made it hard to sleep. The walls were thin, I could easily listen into the phone conversation of a girl sleeping in another room. I was staying in room 2, every hour or two there was a weird super load bang somewhere in the wall (like a pipe or sth) no idea what it was, but surely got my heart skip a beat in the middle of the night.

I won't use this company ever again. Everything is organised without contact with a human. After it was booked and paid for, 2 days before our arrival, they asked for photo ID. One copy of the ID, then a photo of us holding our photo ID. If we didn't send it they would not give us the access code to the house. No discussion about a refund. I was reluctant to hand over personal data to a company because of a risk of security breach. Unknown what they do with this data. I compromised. I booked the apartment on the understanding that the facilities would be private, especially the bathroom (I have photo proof of this). The bathroom was shared between 5 rooms. The bathroom was on the far end of the facility. It was advertised as an apartment but in reality it was a room. The book provided by the hosts said CCTV was used in communal areas. This is an invasion of privacy. Communication was an issue. For 2 of us, only one towel was provided. Sent an email but no response.

Shower could definitely be updated, it's just a basic shower head attached to taps affair. The walls are really thin so i originally wassupposed to have an early flight from Dublin airport. If I had another early flight I wouldn't stay here as the policy is (quite reasonably) that quiet hours are from 10pm,I think but that wasn't quiet enough early enough for me but if i had a later flight it would be a good place to stay.

A last-minute quick overnight near the airport

Responsive host - it was a last minute booking after a RyanAir snafu. I really appreciated how quickly he answered my frantic messages.

The description was a little confusing about what space was private and what space was shared. (It didn’t matter to me since I was only there for about 12 hours but for longer stays, it would be more important to have a more specific idea of what to expect.) I’d also suggest including more info in the description about the airport shuttle service (cost and how long to book ahead). I didn’t find out until after I’d booked that it I couldn’t use the service on such short notice. (It’s understandable, of course, but I would have liked to know ahead of time.) My room’s window faced the neighboring house’s windows and, as it was on the ground floor, the lack of privacy meant I wasn’t comfortable leaving it open at night. It was unseasonably warm when I was there so a fan in the room would have been nice.
