Comfortable Room at a Fair Price

I stayed in a single room with a private bathroom and had a pleasant experience. The room was fairly clean, comfortable, and quiet. I didn’t use the shared kitchen, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, good value for money.

Considering the price, there was nothing in particular that I didn’t like.

Great holiday stay in Dublin!

The location was excellent and the facilities were good and clean. If there was a problem, the staff fixed it very quickly. There is a lovely cafe almost next door for the morning coffee fix, and Dublin city centre is an easy walk.

The rooms say they can accommodate 2 but it was a squeeze. It was comfortable for 1 and a cosy squeeze for 2! One of the kitchens was not kept in good condition so I'm not sure how often staff check in on these aspects.

A student apartment at the middle of Dublin

The property situates very near to the Dublin City Centre at O'Connell Street. The rooms are extra clean with neat bed sheets, blankets and towels. An ideal place for stay, if you are on a short business trip to Dublin.

During the summer it is bit hot inside the rooms and ventilation window is very small.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were extremely clean, I enjoyed my stay with only 1 fault.

Travelling as a solo traveller can be daunting but the property was well secured and I felt exceptionally safe while staying here

For some reason the staff don’t provide towels in the room for guests arrival? I noticed a few other guests had the same issue, there was no direct contact information in the room or online to ring through to reception to ask for towels so I had to go through the booking agency and even then they did not provide any towels, it wasn’t until later on in the afternoon when I had to go down myself to request this that I received them.

A place to sleep and shower.

Good walking location to most major tourist sites in Dublin, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room wasn’t really equipped as a temporary residence, no garbage can in room or hand soap in bathroom, shower drain was clogged and we weren’t able to unclog it so just took short showers. Rooms are hot during the day with little airflow and the hallway smelt weird the entire time we were there. About as comfortable as a youth hostel but without any of the amenities, and really expensive for what you get. Might just be usual for Dublin as everything is really expensive here. I didn’t realize when I booked it was student accommodation rented out seasonally, but it definitely feels like it.

Aparto Dorset Point 28/06/24

The building is incredibly modern and secure with good facilities available. The living room in the apartment is spacious and the bedrooms are a decent size. The location is convenient.

The listing specifies that a kettle and toaster are provided - this was not the case and when I asked for a kettle I was refused one as they don't provide it even though it's listed in the facilities. Also you are only provided with a single towel (actually a bath mat) and again they refused to give out extras. While this accomodation is a budget option I don't feel that these were unreasonable requests.

Good price-performance ratio

The price is lower than most of the hotels in town.

The hotel has no reception desk so you have to pick up the key yourself somewhere else; There are many instructions and house rules to read once you have booked accommodation. I fully understand that the place is a student residency. However, since the place is partially rent out as hotel rooms to customers who are not students, it would be better if more professional languages could be used. Plus, these rules shall be transparent and present on the ads before customers book the accomodation; The sound block is bad; There are not enough towels in the bathroom; Overall, the accommodation is not clean enough.

Clean, safe, cheap, and much better than a hostel.

It’s straight forward with its layout, if you’re there for a vacation to see the city this isn’t one of those stays where the facility tries to offer something that has you stay more at the apartments rather than visit the country.

The communal kitchen was a little tricky with the different switches, wish there was more of a guide provided.

I stayed 1 week and there was everything I needed, the staff also is very nice, helpful and kind 😊 good position for Luas and busses lines. I would definitely repeat, thank you so much!

The room is clean and the stuff are friendly.

It is expensive but thinking the high cost in Dublin, it’s maybe reasonable. The lift has been under repair for four days and I had to bring my suitcase upstairs.

Disappointing and frustrating

Was clean and felt safe due to the security and cameras around

- There's no number on the door of the premises so it literally took me half an hour to find the place - They informed me a day before that checking in before 4pm would come at a 60 euro charge even though I informed them about my arrival time a month before - Lift didn't work in my 5 day stay so I had to stay lugging my luggage up and down 4 flights of stairs without any help - No cleaner in a 5 day stay with no lift - they expected everyone to take out their own rubbish carrying it down 4 flights of stairs - No fan, no AC, no TV - They gave me only 2 towels for 5 whole days and when I asked for more, they said they only offered more at a charge- considering the amount of money I paid I found this difficult to understand - The mattress was too soft- my back hurt - Everytime I asked a question the staff were clueless and directed me to customer care. I don't think this is a hostel or hotel...it could be that people actually live here...no idea as even when I checked out they'll stared at me blankly when I asked who to return the keys to

the tap in the kitchen is broken, it’s only a thin line of water, so you’ll take long washing dishes. It seems that the water is ending. If you want strong it will came boiling, I burned my self many times. The rob is not working.

Well located and very safe accommodation. The rooms are easy to access and spacious enough to stay in. On top of all this, the area is well located, you will need to walk very little to get to the sights of Dublin!

I found the room to be dirty. It seemed to me that the place had not been cleaned before I checked in. Also, it is worth noting that there is no room service and no minibar to leave some food there.

The location is good with a short walk to the city center. Rooms facing the courtyard were quiet. Not a complicated way from/to the airport

Untidy floor in the kitchen and bedrooms upon arrival (photo in the attachment). Dirty toilets in the rooms. Unwiped dust on the shelves in the rooms. More equipment was desirable in the kitchen, e.g. soup ladle. There was always a problem with cold water in the kitchen - the flow was very weak, it was a problem to wash the dishes.

information in booking were misleading as it is a room with a private bathroom but all other facilities are shared with the rest of residents. cleaning service paid did not include room cleaning during our 5 nights stay it meant checking in a clean room and cleaning the room after we check out to have clean to the next guest. placing food in a shared fridge was not safe and one of the other guests left her food & beverage in the fridge and didn’t find the other day and the receptionist didn’t act and said that the housekeeping may have taken the food and no one offered a compensation not even an apology.

Location and good customer service but the value for money for this property is not good.

Location is truly brilliant. The response from the property is pretty quick and always willing to help.

I stayed there for 2 weeks and not once was my room cleaned. The trash has to be self managed. The room is on the main road, even if windows closed, there is alot of noise of the cars throughout the day and night. The Wifi is free for one device, if you want to join multiple devices which is normally the case, you have to pay another 15 euros.

Not bad but I think it is overpriced (worth 50€/night)

Central location, easy to walk back home and close to the airport. (But still, I don’t think this is the best neighbourhood in Dublin.) Common areas were well-designed, nice and clean garden. Spar and Tesco 10min walk. Super internet connection, enough for work! Keyless system was cool. Staff was super nice!

The room was right above a restaurant and I could hear the engine of the kitchen equipment all day. Windows are not opening completely, you only get a 5cm gap (where you can continuesly hear the AC running and music from the restaurant). Room was extremely small and not extremely clean. Corners were dusty and I found leftover shampoo in the bathroom.
