It’s a place worth recommending :)

Overall, I had a positive stay. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, and the property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Despite being quite far from the city center, public transportation connections were convenient and easy to use - although very often late;)

On the downside, there was no table or seating in the room, no hairdryer, and the walls were not very soundproof.

An entire family stayed in the room across from my room.There wasn't quiet time.. kids running around place was dirty.. People in the common area kitchen all night long. I was supposed to stay for a week.I only stayed for 1 night

Not what was promised

Nice place that was clean, we liked the bed we thought it was comfortable. The size was good for the price. We had our own bathroom. Could lock our room. Free WiFi was good. Not so far to places if you have money for taxis

You can hear everything through the walls which is especially unfortunate if you have louder guests who are staying in the room next door. Very inaccessible to the rest of Dublin, it takes about 40 Minutes to get to town about an hour from the airport and about an hour to the zoo. There were times we came back to the accommodation where the door was unlocked the key box was wide open and the back door was wide open. Made everything feel quite unsafe. We had no hot water in our room and couldn't get the shower to work hot. No tea and coffee maker in the rooms like advert says. Not worth staying more than a couple of days.

The rooms are not very large but enough. The environment is also conducive for relaxation and the common room was very helpful to me as I had deliberately hosted someone who helped give me full lectures on being myself and the importance of taking back my life.

Very disappointing, does not match what was booked

Honestly, little to highlight. The only positive is that it was about 15–20 minutes from the city center by bus or taxi, but it was still quite far.

We paid for a room with a private bathroom, but on the first night, we were given a room without one. We had to sleep in a room we hadn’t booked, without being able to shower, since the shared bathroom didn’t work (we assume due to a timer because no water came out of the shower). The next day we contacted the accommodation again and were told our room (number 4) was available, but this was not true: it was dirty and had obviously been used the night before. After insisting, they told us the cleaning staff would take care of it. When we returned, the room was still not ready. The accommodation explained that the cleaning staff couldn’t access it because they didn’t have a key. We had to change the sheets ourselves, using those from the other room where we had slept the night before, and the bathroom was completely dirty. So, what am I paying for? The staff apologized but did not offer any real solution or compensation. A very disappointing experience. I would not recommend it and certainly would not stay again.

Most horrendous experience ever

Lovely property and new

There were a few things not finished in our room like no tv and no shower door/curtain, so the bathroom completely flooded when the shower was used. No WiFi when we arrived, and this was sorted after 24 hours. The communal fridge was not working and we lost lots of food. Reported it but was made to feel we were interrupting the owners meal. Went out to get pizza and locked the door to our room only when returned could not get into our room as lock broken. After an hour of trying, we decided to call booking.com as the owner clearly stated that when we reported the fridge, he did not work outside working hours. Booking.com tried to contact the owner. We then tried to contact the owner, nothing. We were locked out for 12 hours before booking.com could get hold of the owner. No access to vital medication or our belongings and nowhere to sleep. The owner was more concerned we had interrupted his breakfast. Please be aware that there is no one to contact in an emergency, and the owner stated the house is the guests responsibility outside of his working hours. There are no guidelines or procedures to follow in such situations. We decided to leave, and we then received intimidating emails to leave within 50 minutes. This was the most horrendous experience we have ever encountered.
