Overpriced

Was a bit creaky and the entrance you had to go through a busy and wait there to be booked in host was very nice though. Room was small but warm and clean, bathroom fine with reasonable shower.

Extremely overpriced, the entrance and hallways are bit worn. No room service no breakfast available its more like a guest house. Endless narrow stairs to get to room. Again Extremely overpriced.....

Fabulous!

This was our second stay here and everything was excellent again, The Black Room was opulent and beautifully designed. If you're looking for breakfast/lunch locally, An Tearmann next door was excellent. We're looking forward to our next stay.

The black room

Good comfortable bed.

The black room was too dark. Made it feel small and cramped. I kept losing dark items like my black phone and wallet, but they were laying in the room Kettle plug screw cap was seriously unfastened and i was nearly in danger of electrocution. I did report it in the book. Shameful health and safety

Great Food, Great Location

Food is absolutely delicious. Had bacon and cabbage one night and it was the best I've had. Great selection on menu and a lovely pint too. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Location is great right in the middle of the beautiful Kilcullen.

I was happy with my stay and would recommend.

Nice pub right in town. Room was very nice and comfortable. Pub has good food and excellent atmosphere.

My room was overlooking the street and was quite noisy with lorries and a take-away restaurant just below. I recommend getting a room set back from the street if possible.

Lovely accommodation and dinner in the pretty village of Kilcullen

We stayed in the Grey Room, which was beautifully designed. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom had a large shower with plenty of hot water. The restaurant in the pub below was very good, great food and a friendly atmosphere. Lovely staff :)

Main Street with passing trucks / hard to sleep Stayed in the black room , who ever decided to paint the room black and thought it would create a relaxing atmosphere must have had the first name of count Old and jaded feel about the whole place

No room at the inn!

When I made the booking I requested a checkin for 2pm because we were attending a local wedding. Arrived to find the place locked up and the bar man kindly let us in. He wasn't aware of any booking because he doesn't deal with that side of the business. Eventually we found out that our room was unavailable and we were being moved to McTernans over the road. No email/phone call etc to apologise for the inconvenience or anything. If the bar man wasn't there at the time we would have been left out on the street none the wiser and missed the wedding. Not impressed.

Room was nice but on a main road and noisy so affected our sleep.

I would have expected breakfast to be included with the price which I think was expensive. The room was pleasant and very clean but it was on the main road and was noisy so didn’t sleep great.

Haunted Mansion vibe

The black room was comfy and dark at night.

The staff was hard to reach, and the old school bunch of keys was excessive. Finding the keys was challenging. I kept expecting the dog portraits to follow me with their eyes. Street parking was just ok.
